Dein fell out with the board when they wouldn't give a seat to Usmanov and rejected his investments into the transfer/wage budgets. Pity that. He was hugely important.

Indeed.

Another Pity is that Kroenke is our majority shareholder, rather than Usmanov.

When you take into account our 2nd major shareholder, we are the 2nd most wealthy team in England.

Usmanov is richer than Abramovich and 2nd only to Citys oil billions.

If he was in charge the likes of Neymar and Gotze would be genuine possibilities.

Meanwhile Nasri had a awful game in todays City-United derby. It was criminal that we got 20 million for him. He's on his way to becoming another Hleb, Adebayor etc. A shadow of his former self once he left Wenger.

Reports filtering through that Lille excepted a bid for Hazard, but he rejected Arsenal.

Adebayor  He ain't feeling the effects of being without Wenger now.

Funny regarding Hazard if true, I guess he still wants to go to Madrid?

On the con side, a 34 year old has more finishing touch in him than Arshavin or Chamakh have in their supposed best years.

IMO I'd play Henry and RVP together in every game possible, both are obviously superb in the middle and either can go onto the left.

And I'm not far off the opinion I'd rather have AOC ahead of Walcott on the right.

You mean loaned out by a club that will probably make its current first XI redundant in two seasons?
Adebayor might not be as good as he was but he'd hardly a shadow of his former self, especially given that even with his Madrid loan he hasn't had regular football at the top level for a while.

And there it is.

It's been what? 2 and a half years since he left Arsenal and he's just now getting consistent game time? It's pretty obvious his career went downhill after he left Arsenal and it's only now getting back on track.

I'm assuming he doesn't care though. He gets paid whether he starts or not.

He isn't what BM implied though.
And you seem to have ignored my point regarding City.
I'm guessing you expect him to start over Tevez, Balotelli and co?
But I'm guessing the fact that he pushed Benzema out a few times must be in his favor.
He happens to be in great form, and though his finishing could be better, he is still a great striker.

So now that Reus has signed for BvB, Götze has proclaimed he has no intention of leaving and BvB and more than likely will re-sign again, Podolski doesn't want to go and the Hazard news, who else does BunniesDerp feel will walk over hot coal to sign for Arsenal?

Somebody quote the reply please.

That was awesome. f**k Henry is a legend.

Shame he left and chased a CL medal though.

Can't blame him though.

So Reus's transfer is confirmed?

Course i don't expect him to start over them. But he should have known what everyone else did, that they wouldn't stop buying and would eventually replace him with someone better.

He took the money, and because of that he hasn't been a consistent starter for years...until now obviously.

Great? Really? He wasn't even great in his 30 goal season when he was missing sitters every game pretty much.

Did people actually think we would throw 30-40 mill at a player like Gotze.

If he didn't want to spend 9 mill at a young Ronaldo i can't see him wanting to spend quadruple that on anyone.

Gotze is obviously a special talent but as soon as he become well known he was out of our reach. Regardless of whether he wanted to come or not.
