Sunderland park an Oil Tanker in front of goal, u know thierry henry took 8 games to score at arsenal, and in end he cost the club 11mill, its better than buying Javi Martinez for 40, hell we got pod, gir and cazorla who is twice the player albeit He plays a different position

Cazorla aint a striker, my point is that the fee for him means if he doesnt hit 20 goals, then it isnt such a loss, if he fails we move on next season with Joel Campbell.

Im also happy for my club to be called "small" even though we have qualified for the CL every year in Wengers reign, won numerous titles ( bit bare lately ) but we still compete, Liverpool Spent 100mill to come 8th, Arsenal spent 7mill to come 3rd after losing one of the best CAM's in the world + Solid players in Nasri and Clichy.

Man city spent close to a billion dollars just to draw with man utd,

Man utd and Arsenal are Proper big clubs

On Podolski, i accept he will struggle for first few games while he gets used to the league, but that doesnt make him a shit player, just cause bayern had no idea how to use doesnt mean a far superior manager in Wenger wont

Hes not a bad player, would make them stronger, but chamakh bleeds arsenal, so i cant see him accepting, cant we give them, Bendtner and Park + chuck in Squill for free

There's no way it will happen. You only have to look at the source to realize it's bs. But it doesn't mean it's not funny.

Chamakh is a terrible player. What sort of striker doesn't shoot? The sooner this bastard and his 60k in wages are off the books the better.

The only reason he would make them stronger is because they have no strikers. They could go out and buy Kevin Davies or Steven Fletcher and they would do a better job then Chamakh.

Yes i'm aware of Defoe.

Playing for England isn't too much of an achievement though. Some very average players have played for England. Scott Parker captained them ffs haha.

Lol FCB had no idea how to use him? You mean give cuddles and kisses and reassure him how great he is? No we don't do that. Our striker has close to 100 goals in the last 2 years and Uli Hoeness publicly called him shit and blamed him personally for a trophy less season. Podolski needs the cuddles and kisses treatment a small club Köln and Arsenal can provide not the pressure a big team like FCB demand.

Please, no idea. He's losing his place in the Nationalelf, scored less goals in the last 3 years than van Persie did last year and there's a reason why he landed at Arsenal not a big club. Tried and failed can't handle the pressure.

I'd rather spend ?40m on a problem area on one of the best defensive midfielders worldwide than take Podolski for free or take Cazorla when we have him covered already. Dynamics of a team.

Cazorla >>>> the Kiddy fiddler ( ribery) and if robben cant stay on the pitch he will be better than him aswell.
Podolski wont be the next RVP for arsenal, but he is a solid striker, thats all we need.

This time next week we will have a midfield/attack of

--------M'Vila-------
----Sahin------Arteta------
Cazorla-----Podolski-------Gervinho

With AOC, Wilshere to come back, with the numerous amount of talent on the bench.

And on the "Big Club" Bayern cant even win there own league with the shitloads of money they spend and have

I love how people assume they've signed players when in reality they aren't done deals.....

You're calling Parker average? Good shout for a player who has regularly been in Player of the Year contention over the past two seasons. :sarcasm:

At least you know Parker will always put in, even if he wants to leave. It's the one quality I absolutely love about him.
Only real problem in his game is he gives the ball away a bit too often when he passes.

Parker is average mate.

He typifies everything that is wrong with the English game. He's got zero technical ability, just runs around. That's all he does. Runs. Sandro isn't great by any stretch but he shits all over Parker.

I wouldn't want him anywhere near my team. The only reason he is in contention is because he's english. It's the same reason Kyle Walker won young player of the year over foreign players like Aguero or Balotelli.

How many players do you know that don't put in? Fabregas played with a broken leg for us when he wanted to leave, Robin played more minutes than anyone for us last season when he wanted to leave. Putting effort in shouldn't be someone's best attribute. It should be a fckn requirement haha.

That's ok. His dynamic dribbling more than makes up for his shit passing game...

Ffs.

Sahin isn't an AM and we aren't even close to getting M'Vila atm.

I'd be surprised if Arsene throws Sahin in against Stoke, that's if he gets here before then, first game will probably be against Liverpool.

Why would you even move Cazorla out wide? He's already our best player, what would be the point of moving him away from the position where he can be most influential?

Cause hes good enough to play there EG, the game against sunderland,
Sahin played his best football in his last season at dortmund, where he played as a AM for much of the season

M'Vila played his last game for rennes yesturday, so i expect him here sooner rather than later

He's hardly average. He's one of the better defensive midfielders in the EPL, it doesn't take a genius to work that out. 'Zero technical ability' is a bit of a laugh. He's scored several goals from range, hardly flukes, and he can pick a good pass. He had a more free role at West Ham; under Harry, he was told virtually to stay just ahead of Kaboul/King/etc at all times, and he did his job. He's not the best player but he typifies what is most important about football; he does his job, and he does it well.

Sandro is the better player overall, I agree. Sandro has far more growth in him and technical ability than Parker ever has. Pound for pound, both of them outplayed Modric last season when they were on the pitch - it's funny though, even in a bad year for Modders he is still almost second to none as far as ball-playing central midfielders in the EPL go.

As for Kyle Walker, fair comment. I was very surprised he won it over the others to be honest. That's not to say he didn't play well enough to get it (even though he still shouldn't of gotten it), he's one of the top right backs in England at the moment. Even rival fans can't deny that.

How many players do you know that don't put in? Fabregas played with a broken leg for us when he wanted to leave, Robin played more minutes than anyone for us last season when he wanted to leave. Putting effort in shouldn't be someone's best attribute. It should be a fckn requirement haha.

How many players do you know will get up quickly after being kicked in the face and not complain? Not many I presume....
Hard-man, it's why the press like him, not just because he's English. He's a-typical of the older generations. And plus, that comment was more in reference to Song/Modric either refusing to play or otherwise having an ill effect on the team.

His fantastic tackling, positioning and clean up make your argument look weak. His passing is mediocre but he can set up a goal and has done so a few times for us and for West Ham. He might be overrated by the Poms but to say he is average is laughable. He's a defensive midfielder and he is great in the role. What more do you want?
