I suspect Graham is biting into a fair chunk of that now.
I still maintain it was a very good deal for him and in the end the Dogs and highly questionable for us.
We must have taken a leaf out of Des's book and done some back ending with existing players.
I think OT bit harsh there on Graham, not sure of salary but he has been in the main good for us. Father Time instead of OT has caught up with him re football but he still does a lot of work out there what I see. Yeh he has lost leg speed, forward power and punch but still a workhorse. He just needs less minutes say 20 each half and can be effective for us.
But after a broken leg...I feel he should call time at years end. He will have a good rest but his impact will be affected further. The option to play next year is in his court...I believe he would do the right thing if he could not go round again..I dont think he should in 1st grade anyway..great to play with and learn in reggies!.

SGI has a habit of putting club loyalty to players ahead of the long term interests of the Club. It is time SGI planned ahead and always put the long term interests of our Club ahead of anything else.

Lucky was our most damaging forward in the first half. Mary took him off and didn't bring him back. I thought he should have been brought back on for the last 10 to 15 minutes. I still think he looks like a very good prop prospect, but lack of stamina may go against him.

I'd say under a coach like Hasler, Leilua would be one of the most damaging props in the NRL in less than a season of Hasler coaching.

Yep, definitely needed him in the last 10 minutes

Leilua, Host, Lawrie are all young footballers who will mature into much better players over the next several years. DeBelin's development was a good example of this. The club needs to ensure this trio of juniors are retained for the now as well as the future.

I think Lawrie is too small and too one dimensional for first grade. Yes he does have a go, He has a high work rate, but he fails to bend the line, he doesn't have ball playing ability. I think we should be aiming higher than Lawrie.

Didn’t see much of Robson in the game
Robson has lost enthusiasm given our place on the ladder and his new contract with NQ for 2020. I rate Robson highly but have always held the view that it would have been better to play a young forward who is interested in staying at the club ahead of Robson. Players like Ford and Timm should have been selected ahead of Robson for the game against the Storm.

As a bench player I did and he paid lock / bit of hooker. I ran hard and tried to tackle hard.
I thought played as admirable as the rest of the middle when on.

Noticed in particular Leilua's last few games he is a about our ownly forward that appears to look for support players.....wouldn't you think our imposter of a coach would set up some plays with the likes of Dufty, Fields or even our other forwards to gain metres or in fact keep the ball alive.....has no effing idea

Rugby League was not designed for rocket scientists, but was designed for tactics to score more points than your opposition by watching them, then utilising your best players. It was not designed for a power only game still an important part...but
Mary just out confuses himself with pre-game plans and does not construct and manufacture attacking game options to try and break down his opposites.....
We have Leilua setting a platform and breaking the defense down early in the game...do we try that tactic again.NO..McInnes constantly making metres....do we ask him to put an offload as had supports...NO...Not part of the grand plan
