Only 1 wicket in Melbourne (Last of the game) and hasnt got one yet in Sydney (although will probably get 1-2 here at the very end).

Do We keep him for Perth/Adelaide or try someone else?

To me id try someone else, its not just the fact hes got 0 for, but the Indians are playing him like a part timer.

need him for Adelaide

for some reason SOK will continue to be overlooked so there really is no one else

We chop and change the spinner every 5 minutes and all of a sudden we find someone who shows he is good enough. He has a couple of quiet games against a team who plays spin well and so we want to flick him? Lyon unlike most of the other hacks we've played post Warne has shown he's worth persisting with. If not Lyon then who?

While i doubt that we will play Lyon at the WACA he is definitely or best spin option in the long term..

I really feel we will go with 4 quicks in Perth..

He's not getting smashed like Doherty and the other nuffies.

Conditions haven't suited spin and he's bowled alright.

Ashwin was 0/150 odd

Nah id be highly considering SOK as to me he brings absolutely nothing against this Indian side.

4 Innings in a row hes really had no impact only getting the 40th and 39th wicket of both matches.

Lyon hasn't bowled poorly, just not getting wickets which isn't a surprise against the Idians. Silly to even bring it up IMO. SOK has been overlooked and I'd love to know the reason because he is an obvious choice. Needs to stop getting injured I reckon.

SOK isnt fully fit anyway at present is he?

Lyon wont get much out of Perth you wouldnt think, although wouldnt hurt for him to learn to play different conditions.

Finger spin in Australia against India was never going to be hugely succesfful tbh. He's shown more than most tried and worth persisting with

If you bring in SOK now it would be for that second spinner role as a bowling allrounder, spins it the opposite way and handy with the bat. Good player to take to the sub continent.

i thought lyon bowled well yesterday for little return.while the indians are playing like crap - they can play spin.
the sok option would be nice but like many on here i think he's had his ticket marked 'never to play tests'.

What did everyone expect, that he'd get a bagfull against these blokes???

These guys play spin in their sleep, better bowlers have been dealt with even more harshly than what Lyon has. I'd play 4 quicks in Perth but bring him back for Adelaide. Sure he hasd struggle but he'll be a much better bowler because of it. Oh and LOL @ Hauri the Baker.

Bring back Hauri

f**k no

these aging Indian batsmen are really struggling against our rejuvenated pace attack, yet when Lyon comes on its like they get a chance to take a break

if only we had 4 fit suitable quicks it would be a no brainier but these injuries are killing us

I'd rather stick with Lyon than go back to Starc. You do have to remember he hasn't played on a spin friendly surface since the Gabba, and guess what his match figures looked like in that match. Some will say it was only the Kiwis, well in the 2nd test he was ineffective on a green deck so I'd like to see him in a spin friendly track against the Indians.

Watson would make a decent 4th pace attack option.

These injuries are killing us.
