Except in this case it is annoying you. Even stock mobile browsers have ad blockers. Use them.

It’s the NRL. Reactionary decisions based on no real logic is their bread and butter.

I’m Ok with them trying out the concept in Brisbane, but they need to move it out of heartlands for the next years. Hopefully it’s a success and other cities look to buy it. Definitely going to make it a boys weekend in Brisbane as luck would have it all our teams play on the Saturday. I don’t think the single Thursday game will sell well, kind of defeats the purpose if it’s just a single game on a day. I think the matchups are mostly good with the exception of panthers/tigers which sells well in Sydney.

I think the magic weekend should be an extra game like in England and go to a developing market. NSW or QLD is just a waste

Because they agreed with the QLD Govt to play 8 games at Suncorp.

I think it also was a bit of a political trade off with the Queensland Government for not taking the Grand Final to Brisbane whilst ANZ is refurbished.

I’m hoping the Thursday game will be in a package with the Friday game. If it’s the case, it would definitely improve the crowd.
