Why ask that question, and what relevance is it to this discussion? I'm not the one moaning about it.No I asked if you were putting cold hard cash to attend

I don't think they're selling a four day pass. You'll need to buy a Thursday ticket (starts from $10), and a 3 day pass (from $89)Is there a price for tickets for the whole event? Im hoping to watch all 8 games, my previous record is 3

I’m pretty excited gonna try and go the Saturday. Tickets seem pretty reasonable too. As for home games Hopefully most clubs price season tickets accordingly. It would be helpful if this poster would tell us who he supports and give us some prices of said club.
I don’t get the argument of people complaining about being unable to take their families....tough there are another 11 hole games plus away games if you’re in Sydney. I wonder if this guy goes to all 12 games. If not it’s just complaining for sake of complaining
Agreed scheduling has made it hard to get to every game with Thursday’s a thing. It sucks that your club hasn’t applied a fair cost for reduced games. The warriors have reduced season tickets significantly for 10 games at 199 or 149 for ga, which I think is really good value. For the record yes I go to all home games. Thats why you buy season tickets
In fact I used to go to every home and away game including all 3 grades before interstate travel made it too costly or lower grade/NRL scheduling conflicts made it impossible
I have seen my season ticket dilluted from 12-13 games x 3 grades to 9-10 games with 1 maybe 2 grades. And 2 or 3 of these are on ThNF or Fri 6pm which is a direct clash with work or kids school commitments
Its rare these days to watch your team on a sunny Sunday afternoon at your home venue. When it used to be the norm. Its now reserved for poor rating games.
Incredible that even when directly challenged, you still refuse to say who you support. For the record yes I go to all home games. Thats why you buy season tickets

Question for those who have been to Suncorp, I'm getting tickets today for our group and looking at the map would I be right in saying Bays 301 and 302 are the best spots? Never been there before, we like to sit close to the half way and this appears to be the side with the camera's so assuming out of the afternoon sun.
Champion, thanks for that. Just wanted to check, we went to Optus Stadium for the double Header this year but sat on the wrong side, had the sun in our eyes for most of the first game.Yes, you should be out of the afternoon sun as those bays are on the western side of the ground. hre is a map from the venue's website for clarification - https://suncorpstadium.com.au/the-venue/stadium-map.aspx
The question is will the magic weekend draw a bigger aggregate crowd than it would if played at the regular venues.
Prediction for magic weekend
Thurs - 15k (i am being exceedingly generous here)
Fri - 50k
Sat - 40k
Sun - 35k
Total - 140k
Predictions if played at regular venues
Sharks/titans - 12k
Wests/panthers (WSS) - 15k
Manly/Broncos - have to credit this to suncorp as manly have taken this game there the last couple of years 35k
Dogs/knights - 17k
Warriors/dragons - 18k
Storm/eels - 16k
Roosters/Raiders - 12k
Souths/cowboys - 14k
Total - 139k
I think you are being EXTREMELY generous with your crowd predictions for the magic weekend.
Knock 5000 or so off each day and you are more on the money.
Not to mention, the stadium will never be more than half full for any game outside of the broncos with huge sections of empty seats where fans of later or previous games haven’t shown. Happens at every double header.
The visuals of that alone will look pretty crappy. The Friday 6pm game will be lucky to have 10K in the ground as broncos fans will purchase the majority of tickets for that game on their own you’d imagine.
The Broncos game is in that timeslot, but I guess you're not one for paying attention.Should have put Broncos game 7:30pm Friday
4 games Saturday
3 games Sunday
but thats what you get when you sell your soul to TV.
Tigers vs Panthers at the brand new Western Sydney Stadium? This would have drawn 25k I reckon. Honestly, they should have left this one out.Wests/panthers (WSS) - 15k
You lecturing others on hyperbole? now I've heard it all.why "utterbaly laughable" (you do like your hyperboles!) They used to play 3 games in a row at most grounds back in the days before the pitch technology we have now! Soccer pitches in UK have no problem holding up to that amount of use during magic weekend. Is there something special about Brisbane grass?
Playing a game Sunday evening isnt helpful to travelling fans, finishing at 5-6pm on Sunday means interstate fans can get home without having to take a monday off.
Ticketing doing the usual tricks, all I want to do is get some tickets on the western side out of the sun but you can only get seats on the eastern side. Pre-sales are an absolute waste of time, I'll wait and see if the western side comes available.
