now I've heard it all.
.
the irony.

Are Bays 301 and 302 normally available areas, or are they one of these mysterious bays that never seem to have tickets available. I'd like to get somewhere in this area, we've figured that we're flying all the way from Perth so may as well get the best seats we can.i have learnt year after year with the nq v broncos game in brisbane and getting shit seats in the pre-sale, run the gauntlet and wait for the regular/normal release. pre-sales in our sport are a waste of f**king time.
Oh look, you had no retort to my point so resorted to a personal attack.the irony.

In other words, a typical nrl cluster f**k?
Translation: "I think they're stupid to put it on the Mother's Day weekend but I'm going to place extreme and unreasonable expectations on the crowd aggregate because I have a grudge".Can't be any worse than putting it on Mothers Day weekend
Success for me for this event will be attendance that matches or betters a NRL Easter Weekend aggregate
As ot is prime time football period
However a aggregate less than the week before NRL round or average NRL round aggregate in my opinion is deemed unsuccessful
Already covered earlier in the thread in my responses to Valheru's crowd estimates. Measure it against the same games had they been played at the regular home venues, excepting Manly v Brisbane as it's been played at Suncorp for several years.I can see you got lost in the translator
So in your opinion how will you measure success
Your preaching to the converted
But many other fans just prefer to watch on TV and avoid all of costs and hassles
NRL is a TV product these days
It amuses me that the moment Phil Gould is against something, all his Penrith disciples follow the same linesAhh yes and people thought when the NRL took over scheduling it will change. I am glad we don't lose a home game for this farce

Ahh yes. I follow Panthers so have to follow his say so. Gus is anti magic weekend.. I am anti it in NSW or QLD.
Melbourne the 1st week when no AFL is on. Perth, Adelaide. Auckland etc all much better options

yeah well suncorp was a better option for 3 years worth of GF’s over the SCG while ANZ gets knocked down.,,,,, but hey, we don’t always get what we want.

Melbourne (or anywhere) Round 1? Yeah, take home games away from fans that have been starved of footy for 5 months at the first opportunity in an effort to boost crowds in what's already among the best-attended rounds each season.
Adelaide, Perth? Perth didn't fill a double header this year, Adelaide gets 15-20k to games at the moment. No.
Auckland might be a goer but Brisbane is fine for a first go. It won't be there permanently.
I actually agree for the most part. But we have what we have so why not will it to have the best result instead of incessantly talking the game down? It’s a pants concept for Australia, double headers for expansion cities are far better options. Rather than this magic weekend we could have had 4 double headers which would have been far more strategically beneficial to the game.
f**kem. If they stuff it up, call them out.I actually agree for the most part. But we have what we have so why not will it to have the best result instead of incessantly talking the game down?
