Finished the season 2 Podcast.

Bloke who does it is a law graduate who covered the trials.

Didnt cover off all the points the doco raised but enough that I went from how can these guys not get off to understanding how they were convicted, and Avery in particular is probably where he belongs.

Main points I guess were that most, if not all, the groundbreaking evidence that Averys lawyer boasts about is not presented in her court submissions for various reasons including more details from the experts contradict a lot of her proclamations..

The 1 thing I found really compelling in the series was the planner sheet foubd with her boyfriend but the podcast claims that her cell phone pings up until much later, so it was quite plausible that it was left in her room as she only had 2 appointments and was carrying her palm pilot. Still question why he erased messages.

Also why she went out to property when she said Avery creeped her out.

Docu definately biaised at best, very dishonest at worst.

Ok dude, based on your recommendation I'm giving this a try, but I'm four episodes in and I'm not finding this guy very compelling at all.

A lot of filler so far, arguments based on what he thought the series was trying to imply, him not being satisfied with how much time that was spent on things like the incident with his cousin, chastising the film makers for not investigating why Barb was "lying" about the cops even though they were the ones that pointed out what she said wasn't correct, lots of other nitpicking.

But episode three, where he's talking about the evidence supporting Dassey's "confession", he completely waves away the lack of evidence inside the trailer for the crime that Dassey describes. According to this guy, Avery could have just changed the sheets. But Dassey describes her being raped, stabbed and having her throat slit. Hey, she might not have been bleeding very much from it he says. The masterminds just managed to clean up all of the evidence matching Dassey's story, but then accidentally left the body laying in the yard, her stuff in the barrel, her car in the yard with his blood in it, the keys behind the cabinet....

He makes a big deal about the hand and leg restraints but fails to mention that despite there being the presence of DNA from at least two people on them, Halbach was not one of them.

Now he's talking about the key and sweaty Steven Avery. Again, the criminal mastermind manages to completely wipe any trace of Halbach's DNA from the key and lanyard, but left his sweat on it and left it behind the cabinet even after the initial visits by the cops. Where on earth would they find a couple of spare skin cells from Avery?, he asks. Presumably Avery has a bathroom?

This guy is basically going back and forth between Avery being super dooper smart and a complete f**king dumbass.

LOL!

So this guy's explanation for there not being any of Avery's fingerprints inside the car is that he wiped the car down and removed all traces of them whilst also bleeding all over the car.

Then there's good old Lenk... According to this guy he didn't plant the key because nobody saw him plant it.

According to this guy Avery removed the battery from Halbach's car to make it look like the car couldn't run so people wouldn't think it was hers. Yeah right. A guy that lives in a wrecking yard doesn't know anything about VIN numbers. Hey, I'll just take the battery out, nobody will know it was her car!

Jesus christ.

This is a crock of shit, I'm done.

0/10.

That podcast sounds about as moronic as the case for the prosecution.

Anyone with a modicum of rationality could see it’s a frame up.

IMO the most compelling evidence is tied to the adjacent block of land. Halbach could’ve easily been killed down the access road or on the property itself. I think part of the pelvic bone was found there, or was that on county land? Anyway, it would be easy to dump the remains in the barrel and car on the Avery property since they were connected.

The lack of dna evidence in Avery’s trailer is very telling. Anyone that has watched only a few crime scene shows would know it’s next to impossible to remove all traces of blood and dna in what was proposed as happening. Wasn’t the trailer carpeted? Yeah good luck cleaning that!
