With the amount of media interest in this whole thing a press conference is really required. That's what it comes down to.

Thats my point mate. Lets not cow tow to the invisible, out raged do gooders too much for fear of a bad headline. The fuggers specialise in it any way.

I think it's for the fines, don't know that they'll announce the suspensions. I sure hope they do so everyone can move on.

That makes sense.

Press conference. Do they really need a press conference?

Who are they trying to appease here?

Just charge em, cuff em and walk em down to the judiciary to be judged.

Press conferences by the CEO should be saved for stripping cheats of titles or to announce the new TV deal as massive one.

Press conference. For a fight.

f**k me.

Good chance for him to play pretend again, as in pretend Im a leader. Your right though, any other sport would send an underling or minion out to front the press for something as minor as this.

Like it or not punching a player on the ground is the biggest dog act in the entire episode.

Bullsh!t. Punching a defenseless bloke is a dog act no matter whether they're on the ground or not. Both incidents are equal. Blair punched a defenseless bloke in the face while Lussick punched a defenseless bloke in the ribs, which would you prefer to be on the recieving end of? Would it matter to you if you were on the ground or just being held by 2 or 3 blokes while standing?

I think its safe to say Blair is going to be suspended longer than Lussick...

Lussick doesnt deserve to walk though...

I expect Blair, the Stewarts and Lussick to be referred straight to the judiciary.

I would be surprised if any of them received suspensions of greater than 3 weeks.

Hinchcliffe won't get suspended. He accidentally elbow tapped a guy on the jaw without looking. Nothing in it.

one good thing could come out of this. All the stress could finally give that Peter Peters a fatal heart attack.

Predictions..

Blair & G Stewart - 3 weeks
B Stewart - 2 weeks ( he will be injured longer then that..)
Lussick 1 week.

Each club fined $100K each ( $50k suspended...)

Waqa and other Melbourne players that left bench - $5k fine each...

Yep, all those stray elbows throw by Storm players are all accidental. I bet the elbow that Slater threw into DCE's face was accidental too?
