It's sad that we beat ourselves today. They are not better than us imo. Even with a ravaged pack we matched it with them in the middle. Errors, poor execution and a lack of intensity lost it.
Depends what you mean by better? The Warriors showed today that they have an extra level to go to to compete in these big games. We didn't really show that this finals series. A boilover and a rabid crowd got us out of jail last week.

This will be an important finals series as far as our development as a team goes. We're not there yet.

Missing Hastings and Fitzy has really hurt us. Most attack going towards the right, not Ponga’s preferred side.
Both wingers rushing in too much and giving a free run for a try to the Warriors too.

This is reminiscent of the game the Panthers murdered us at home last season - we've just been kicked into a corner for what feels like an entire half, and spend our sets of six taking one out hitups into a crowded defence standing 3 metres away.

At least Marzhew is out there trying to kill Egan. Would have been great to upset the Wahs but good for them. I hope they give the Broncos a run for their money next week.

For next season we need to work on our first contact in the middle.

I mean, a severely depleted Knights pack was all over the Warriors for most of the first half, even against the run of play. That counts for something. Unforced errors and uncharacteristic play killed us. We looked overawed.
