I mentioned this in the Canberra game thread, but I would play yesterday’s team, except Olam, for the rest of the season, to get them ready for next year.
Klemmer, Papi and Bateman haven’t done much, except help us lose 9 games straight.
I’d keep Naden as our utility.
Give Stef a few weeks to tell the club what he’s doing, otherwise we go to market.
This season is all but lost, we need players ready for next season.

Interested to see the team Benji names with a few experienced heads due back. Klem, Bateman, Staines and Olam then maybe Twal & Lobb. The kids have gone well the last 2 weeks however the Roosters are a totally different challenge. If available most of those come in for mine. Either way Im not sure it helps much. Easts always destroy us.

Staines listed in Cup suggests he has been dropped.

Bateman and Olam probably come in if they are fit.

Sullivan also listed in Cup but still no Latu Fainu

I guess, while we are still some chance at semifinals, we should be playing the senior players, but barring Olam, I would have loved to see Klem & Bateman playing cup footy just to show everyone that standards need to be met.

I think Klem and John would consider themselves under a bit of pressure already, no cup required.

I would pick them this week so they can drive home their point against a strong pack.

I would have given Galvo another rest and tried the Api thing again.

Regarding Api, he is extremely versatile.

I’m not so sold on our wingers tbh, but Doogie in form in attack should be solid.

Benji has had some pretty good coaching spells recently. If he can beat Robbo at the coaching stakes, that’s a huge scalp.

That is to stay competitive, keep scrambling and get some positive effects from rotations.

I hope the roosters lose their discipline, that will help a lot.

Im pretty sure they will be taking our rag tag crew quite lightly.

Yeah, I do think Klem and Bateman will start, but they certainly need to show something or face the ignominy of being dropped.
I think Faataape will be replaced before game day, probably by Staines, maybe Naden?
As Olam will come in for Naden, assuming Olam is fit?
I hope it is some of Benji's doing, but I kinda think the changes were forced on him and the kids delivered. I guess we'll see.
Another long opportunity for a 3 peat, @Fordy20 said, since 2018, a long time between drinks.

Ive been wanting Klem off the bench for a while, I think he can add value from there in the middle of the game. Shame its taken a suspension for this to happen, but well done to Pole for taking his chance.

Porters done well but agree, Bateman comes in. Olam likely for a winger which pushes Naden to wing. Staines seems the odd man out now.

Hey guy what’s the go on Twal? I expected him back this week where is he at with his recovery since the head knock? Anyone know?

Charlie fell Ill, didn’t lose form per se, so I’d have to give him the benefit.

I’m impressed with Pole, young legs as well. Same with Sam.

Benji said he’d pick on form and desire at training.

Friend at work thinks the roosters will put 50 on us. I’m sticking to my formula last 2 games, I just want the effort. Organising tickets for the storm, just to support the lads.

I must say, I’m really enjoying this “winning business.”

We are all taking selections and finer points much more seriously these days!
