Has Cant played centre at any level? It is such a specialist defensive position.
This is a worry of mine for the weekend. More often than not Gagai and Best have been spot on with their defence this year, and prevented many tries through good decision making.

Long way to go for Pryce backing up effort upon effort for 20+ weeks of NRL footy is a big ask for a young bloke, lot's of ups and downs along the way, but he's looking good so far.

If you look at Pryce’s work so far in the context of the point in the season we are at, I find it hard to take any knock on him as fair. He could become a real threat on the left to allow KP an extra yard or two to really unleash his arsenal of passes or runs. But he is a natural right player so we won’t want to over complicate his game just yet.

Game day!

Obviously going into this one with low expectations. Looking at Manly’s side, they look a bit a bit light in the middle and look like they’ll probably go for an all out attack the edges game. That’s going to be extremely difficult for us obviously given nobody in the backline has defended together before.

Expecting the worst but hoping the makeshift backline might be able to surprise us. If they can somehow hold their own defensively I think there’s a chance we might be able to run over the top of them.

+ 3 errors. Interesting comment. Tell us about the really bad game he had
Sure, he threw a pass into the 3rd row under no pressure, threw another pass a couple of metres forward on the first tackle off a scrum and dropped another one cold when the game was on the line. Had one really well placed kick early in the game but otherwise didn't do enough good to make up for the really bad errors IMO.

I agree his errors were poor, but at his age/experience I'm sure there'll be plenty more of those types of games.

I'd rather be patient in developing a superstar (hopefully) than continually employing bog average nobodies that will never deliver a premiership.
