Hastings has been ordinary but still as good as alternatives, Crosslands at 7. He is more likely to supply Ponga with the ball if only KPP wouldn’t keep getting in the way.
Crosslands needs to work on selective passing even if playing 9.

Tbh I see this as our absolute worst option (and we have a lot of bad ones).

i know all options are not good but Cogger at 7 would be as good as Crosslands who is better at 9 with Brailey 14 covering injury or fatigue..
Crosslands at 9 could still be used for deep kicks or high bombs.
Bottom line——we badly need a half back
