Hopefully this comment gets lost somewhere in this thread and is never brought up again but is our team just terrible with Ponga in it? He is the captain but is so relaxed and doesn't care in the slightest. Is it rubbing off on the lads? He needs to be dropped as captain surely? Give the armband to Gamble!
Him being captain is a problem yes, but I think moreso we're missing Gamble's chirp on the field.

Ponga has just returned and we expected some teething issues, but if this continues there has to be questions, are we better off without Ponga? We played as team without him and everyone looked to be buying in.

I want Ponga to work so badly but the longer we go without a strong team performance with him in the team, the concerns grow bigger.

Not much we can do though, we've got him for a long time now. So the Coach and Peter Parr will have to die by him. Which probably isn't surprising as they seem to be prepared to die by Mann and Crossland.

I mean most of us have been saying Ponga isn't captain material since he got it and nothing has changed there. I think if we put real talkers and leaders on the field it doesn't really matter who has the (c). Leaders will always lead.

Wow, Mann hooked from this game!

AOB isn't so accepting of shit this year. He has his bench flaws but everything outside of that I've been relatively happy with AOB.
