Matt Moylan Appreciation Thread

I'm not sure I've ever seen a dumber footballer than Pomeroy, and yes, I've seen BJ Leilua play.

I did love watching him flatten opponents though, even if sometimes it wasn't when he was supposed to.

Limmo was a great club man (by all accounts so was Pomeroy), and a decent first grade winger. I never got the hate for him either.
The hate comes from the fact that they let a legend like The Peach go because Simmo was going to be "the Saviour"

Peachey is my all time favourite Shark (maybe add Gallen, Lewis and Ennis to the list in modern times, given what they did for us in 2016).

But Simmons didn't let Peachey go.
its a club, mate. We are a club. You let The Peach go, you let Apricot go..... us, the fans get upset. We are simple people.

how many games does he complete if he is in the run on side... I know last year when he scored that long distant try.... all the way I was waiting for the sound of the hammy snapping.

I'm say five games he starts and finishes.

His body was a lot better last year than the past, so he’s on the right path. If he stays on the park I’m expecting huge things.
Every interview Fitz has done when asked about the half’s he has been very coy but I do get the opinion he was set on Moylan/ Hynes combo months ago.

He hasnt been on the paddock munch, but when he is, moyza has been great for us. I can only recall one ‘fit’ shit game he has played for us the last 2 years. Unfortunately it was his last game….

But he’s proven class. Once Nicho had shown he could kick, Moyza was a lock to partner him. Until he breaks down of course.

I am expecting Brailey to do a lot more general kicking as well this year, he was the one who got us 40/20 last year.
Brailey/ Hynes long kicking game.
Graham/Moylan can assist in short kicking game

I was surprised at how good Nicho's kicking game actually is. He was pinpoint with his kicks in the indigenous game in horrible conditions. Found the grass or his own players onall kicks. I think He kicked a 40/20 too, Or may have just missed it due to him stepping on the line?

He also seems the type of guy that would not give up practicing until he was as good as he can absolutely be.
