Grade 5 striking would be my guess, same charge as Glen Stewart got when deliberately elbowing Anasta off the ball and in the teeth.
Dont know what his carry overs are like but that would normally bring about a 5-6 week suspension.
an early guilty plea will yield 4-6 weeks. Disappointing for the kid as he was in a purple patch and a chance of that bench spot for SOO 1.

Nothing like a good witch hunt.
So people aren't entitled to their opinion Snappy? It seems that any defence is akin to being a Prior lover? Well, I guess that means any attempt at reason should be locked away.
Prior needs some time on the sideline, that much is obvious... for more reasons than this thread has put forward. Moreover, all the 'experts' here might consider their love of the soap opera.
Sterlo just said that Steve Price in the sheds said "that's not his go".

Matt Prior's nickname on Wikipedia has been updated to "Elbows" by somebody
Cool story bro :thumn
Moffo is drunk again.
If you want to really punish saints then you won't suspend him at all

Let's get a bit real for a minute and apply some NRL rules to this.
The charge will be (IMO) - Intentional High Tackle: Grade 5 = 950 points.
"100 points received by a player will result in a one match suspension."
But, then you have this other bullshit where it says: "
8. Send Off
In the event a player is sent from the field for misconduct, the player will receive a discount from any resulting charge for that incident. The player will have one point deducted from the charge for each minute of the match he misses due to the send off."
The hit was in the 55th minute, so he gets 25 points deducted.
So, 925 points if he has no carry over points already = 9 weeks suspension with 25 carry over points.
EDIT: "
Early plea
If the player enters an early plea to the offence and accepts the grading, the player is entitled to a reduction of 25 per cent of the base penalty and also a similar reduction in any increases due to other previous offences. A player can enter an early plea up until midday on the day following the charge."
So he gets 25% of that 925 taken off, making it then 694 points, which will be 6 weeks with 94 carry over points.
