Millward spent money for Robson's upgrade extension on Maranta, Allgood and Latimore. Now we have to put all our hope in McInnes to go to the Eels and Aitken to go anywhere for us to be able to buy a couple of first grade backs and retain Robson.

Mess!
Is it a mess would you say?

McInnes has a great motor and it is yet to be determined if Robson will. I'd be giving Robson plenty of time to show the club if it would be worthwhile investing some of the Debellin money to retain him. Problem here is the safety first selection policies of the coach.Perhaps his plan is to keep clubs away from Robson by not showing them what he can do !!!

If I remember right, he played fullback for most of the time with us. The Dogs gave him a chance playing hooker but restricted his urge to run. Souths gave him a chance at hooker and encouraged him to run. At one stage both Cook and McInnes were up for grabs at Souths, we offered McInnes a deal and he did not end up taking it up. I don't think Cook was offered a deal at that time by SGI.

McInnes came to the Dragons because Souths offered Cook a deal to be the second string hooker behind Farrah. Cook soon become the first choice hooker for Souths and we got McInnes.
Cook was carving up in the 20s same level as did Dufty. When he was at Bulldogs it was immediately obvious this guy had a massive future. When Souths poached him the first thought that came to my mind was , doggies you stuffed up bigtime letting this guy go. I am not at all surprised of his rise.
