That is good enough to win. Pearce meshes extremely well with everyone here and can perform to his standard.

Yes he is.
I'd prefer T. Williams though. Even though they are pretty different players, they would be both taking up the 'impact' position on the bench and I'd prefer T. Williams style of play.

+1, I'd love to see T-Rex in a Blues jersey off the bench. Hopefully he puts his hand up for selection, would be a real weapon

Ewwww....I never like T.William. I don't know what it is his style of play does not amuse me. He's good don't get me wrong. Would have to adapt to a particular playstyle though to accomodate him.

Mateo, I think would do good his speed, his step and his offloads would be brilliant. Is he Origin material as well? It's debatable.

I'd rather Mateo though but hey that's just me. Personally, Mateo is one of my favorite players so he gets some points from me there.

Well assuming Gidley is picked on the bench, T. Williams wouldn't be in my team either

11. Lewis
12. Scott
13. Bird

14. Kidley
15. Prop
16. Prop
17. Watmough

Is what I'd go if Kidley is selected on the bench.

If Williams can prove he's not a 12-week-wonder & Mateo is consitent, I'd have no problem with them on the bench.

Not holding my breath though.....

Williams needs to learn how to tackle, Williams is a good runner but his tackles hit less hard than Jamie Soward. Mateo needs to ditch the horror offload but he was much better in 2011 I agree.

Give me Glenn Stewart over both...combined.

Stewart is good....Very good. But can G.Stewart carry over his form next year and through to Origin? I think he is a great option but it depends on the props and whether Gallen shifts back to the 13. Jersey.

I think he works with a good hard running centre. He is skillful on the goal line and a better defender than Watmough. Not a big yard man but he has an offload like Mateo has but is more consistent.

The best thing for the team is for Gal to stay up front. It opens up another spot for someone else in the backrow and he is our best prop.

TRex was lazy and very disinterested in the juniors. He went to Manly and Des worked on him and worked on him and eventually got Williams to start getting involved in games. Id be very curious to see how he goes without Des because I have a feeling Tony will slip into old habbits now that Des is gone.

Not really sold on Glenn Stewart either.

No doubt he was good at club level last year but his sole performance in Origin was lackluster which is understandable as they tried to make him play like Beau Scott but never the less lackluster. Given how ordinary he was in 2009-2010 I'd be a bit hesitant to include him.

For some reason though, I get this horrible feeling Sticky is going to ruin the side with a bunch of out of form Manly players. I certainly hope it isn't the case but crazier things have happened in the past few years alone.

I think Pearce is improving. It's whether Sticky keeps Soward in the squad at 5/8. I think they can work well together as they are both good payers just different in their play-styles. I think Pearce/Carney is a better combo because we know they can work together and build success.

Our halves will be a big part of push for 2012 and winning the series now and for many years to come.

Pearce was one of the better performers in Game II to speak and even in Game III was not our worse on ground. I think we have to deal with the fact although some people might not like Pearce he's probably the best option we have at number 7 unless we take Loltzen.
