Humphries moron of the year sign a overrated Blair and then toss loyal guys to do so world class job he's doing.

Tauber offer a player to a club after said C.E.O says your free to negotiate then when club poohs its pants because of another player doing the old smackie wackie does the double back flip and does the old indian giver trick.

Molzten to stupid to think when you get told to look else where then maybe its a good sign to move on ie Gibbs and Fifita.

Benji opening his geniused gob like normal and cries oh please Moltzie don't got I need you to stay to make me look like a super star.

Tigers embarrassing them selves again got to love it.

God, this is becoming worse than a home and away episode.

Point # 1 . . .If Doust had done his job, and insisted on seeing the official release of Moltzen from the Tigers before he "signed" him, none of this would be happening.

If he is so dense as to attempt to make a binding contract when one is already in place, well . . . good luck to him.

Maybe the Tigers are using his ineptitude to their advantage . . . but if Doust had done his job, then none of this would be happening.

You saints fans are the best place for a laugh in the whole league.

In regards to how much compensation you will get, how many of our brightest stars we will have to give to saints to make up for the slur on the mighty red wee, and all the other mind numbingly stupid ideas and comments about this whole affair . . . please refer to Point # 1.

The kid changed his mind. The saints contract wasn't worth the paper it was written on ( because of . .I hate to say it . . . Point # 1 ).
Thanks for giving him the loophole to back out.
And thank God for giving him the new-found wisdom to keep the hell away from you blokes.
Compensate this.:D

Obviously it was worth the paper it was written on or Ian Schubert and the NRL would have ruled in the Tigers favour already. It would not have taken them over a week to work out the Saints contract was void and never legal in the first place.

Tauber was on MMM telling everyone listening that the Tigers knew that Moltzen was signing with Saints. His defence now is his client changed his mind.

In all the media radio not one sports presenter has leapt to the Tigers defence. Matthew Johns, John Gibbs, big sports breakfast all have been giving it to the Tigers and probably the biggest give away the Tigers favourite Danny Weidler suddenly very silent on an issue to do with the Tigers, no one on ones with Benji or Lote, no exclusives from Farrahs restaurant. Even Chris Lawrence interviewed the other night saying 'No one wanted Timmy to go but you know that is how the salary cap works these days'. Even your own playes don't help your cause.

Everything you say here is of no relevance to the dispute.

Well, point # 1 is about as wrong as it can be so the rest of this is barely worth reading. The manager as the legal agent is responsible for making sure the deed of release is sorted, not the club seeking to sign the player. He cant back out, thats why the dispute is ongoing. If the Tigers were in the right here it would have been done and dusted over a week ago.

The bolded will make me smile for some time to come once this is sorted out.

It's complex , there isno rush, a few weeks is no big deal.

It's martins job to ensure that st George can sign contracts. Amazing revelation.

So what you are saying, dragons 1 . . . . is that saints are in the right based on the facts of : matty johns didn't side with the Tigers.
It has taken a few days to reach a decision.
No Tigers player had a bowl of penne in front of him during an interview.

Your profound wisdom astounds me.

Interesting note in the Daily Tele today says the Dragons might sneak in under the Sharks radar and pinch Carney off them at the eleventh hour. Principled much?

I'd be amazed if we made a play for his services, we've worked hard on building a no BS culture at the club.

Dragons Recruit Vea For 2012
23/10/2011 1:45:04 PM
The St George Illawarra Dragons announced on Sunday that Atelea Vea has agreed to a one-year contract that will see him join the Club until at least the end of 2012.

The Tonga international, who can play in the front and second rows, began his career with the Cronulla Sharks in 2009 prior to joining the Melbourne Storm in 2011.

The Hurstville United junior has made a career total of 19 NRL appearances to date and will join the Dragons in November.

The Dragons can also confirm they have no interest in signing Todd Carney and have made no formal enquiries about his services despite reports to the contrary.

The Club is currently awaiting the NRL’s determination in regards to Tim Moltzen. For further information on the matter click here.

Apparently the sharks secured his services about 2 weeks ago.

Firstly not true just talk and secondly Carney hasn't signed with the Sharks bit of a difference there.
In every way different except for the part that's pretty much the same... That is, the way these kinds of deals are often done. Nobody owes nothing to nobody and even with a contract in place you're still just a plaything to be traded if the franchise so requires.

Given the amount of crap in here about "integrity" etc you'd think people would be a little more careful about the lines they draw on this kind of thing. I mean, this is professional sport and it's just the way things are done.

Anyway, Dragons have shut down the rumour apparently so I'll move on...

So what we are saying is that if you have signed a contract you should then serve the terms and the entire length of your contract.

Is this correct?

No it wouldnt. If St.George are in the right it will mean compensation needs to be agreed to OR that Tauber has massive problems ie. Deregistered.

No, its Martins job to ensure that Tim Moltzen can sign a new contract. Sinking in?

What does that even mean ?

Taub cannot be responsible for something he can't control ie the tigers releasing molt. You are geniused. You can only be responsible for things you can control.

If the tigers told taub they would release Tim and he told st George that what did he do wrong ?

As far ad taub knew they were going to release hi
.

Without question the dumbest person on this board. Taking stupidity to new heights.

Either Tauber or Humphreys are lying. Tauber stated on MMM last week that the Tigers knew Moltzen was signing with the Dragons. IF that is true then through this whole thing Humphreys has lied especially when he stated back in July he had no idea the Moltzen deal was happening. It is hard to imagine that Tauber and Moltzen just went off and signed a contract on their own with no type of acknowledgement from the Tigers - or Tauber has dug himself into a big hole and is now trying to get out, therefore he is the one lying and responsible.

This whole thing has just dragged on and on, it needs to be put to bed and the sooner the better.

Why do you think there has to be lies? Isn't it really that the tigers supposedly said they would relese Tim but then changed their mind ? Is that a lie ? Is it dishonest ?

If you say to your wife that you will do the dishes then you say later on that you won't did you lie ?

You do lie if you never ever had the intention of doing the dishes. But if you did have the intention and you just changed your mind you are not a liar.
