Brown is the type of player you don't want to give away. He has size, good pace and can play right or left centre.

Brown and Daniella were bought to be back up players with first grade experience. Daniella has gone. If brown goes who else is a back up back with first grade experience ?

As if Moltzen would want to stay with the Tigers anyway....they couldn't get rid of him quick enough mid way through the season when they pinned all their hopes and dreams on Lui and said ta ta Timmy....How could Moltzen give 100% to the club knowing that you were an after thought....I've read that apparently he lives with Benji Marshall so that would inflate his ego 10 fold and wouldn't want to play against his mate.

That being said the tigers were unbeaten when Moltzen was at halfback but then Timmy Sheens new flavour of the month was Robert Lui. And he went ice cold on poor Moltzen.

The NRL should give him the option....Go to the dragons for the 3 year deal, or head back to the central coast dolphins and play there for the next three years.......

Dragons have given up on Moltzen deal

BY TIM BARROW

Tim Moltzen is likely to remain with Wests Tigers next year, regardless of the NRL's findings over the contractual dispute with St George Illawarra.Dragons officials are waiting on the outcome before commenting publicly, but privately concede Moltzen will stay put.
Both Moltzen and his manager Martin Tauber have declared the versatile fullback does not want to play for the Dragons.
"Obviously friendships and family and not wanting to move and other considerations all came into play," Tauber said.
"It's just been a sorry and sad situation that it's got to this stage."
The sticking point remains the terms on which the Moltzen saga is resolved.
NRL salary cap auditor Ian Schubert - called in to referee the dispute - is mulling over information provided by the Tigers and Dragons this week.
Moltzen has a valid contract with the Tigers, because Wests were yet to finalise a release for him after he signed a three-year deal with the Dragons.
Wests could not match St George Illawarra's offer.
But the Tigers decided to keep Moltzen after he produced a superb run of form late this season, because they are expected to sack halfback Robert Lui over an alleged assault.
If Schubert deems the Dragons have the contractual standing, they will be prepared to sit down with Moltzen and see if he will change his mind about coming to Wollongong.
But unless there is a major change of heart, the Dragons are prepared to move on even if they are ruled to be in the right - though they will pursue compensation from the Tigers.
Jason Nightingale may be used at fullback instead as a replacement for Darius Boyd.
However, the Mercury learned that Kyle Stanley remains a viable option because of his kicking and passing game.
Bronx Goodwin will also be in the reckoning next year if he is fully fit, but it is likely he will have to work his way back through the NSW Cup.

If Moltzen had the same time in the 7 jumper as Lui was given, it will be interesting to see how he goes.
