Well SD you were right, it was a lot easier than the pumpkins question.
I tried google and i couldn't find it, mind you i don't know a real lot about them.
Actually i looked up gene frenkle afterwards, and he was made up for the sketch, ie no real gene frenkle, but there was a 'bruce dickinson' producer (nothing to do with the Iron Maiden singer) but he never worked with the blue oyster cult (it's all on wikipedia).
