Merritt was always going to be another Steve Turner, David Williams and James McManus epic fail selection. Jorge Taufua should have been the replacement for Fergo. Or Flash if fit. But we caved and picked a player everyone knew would fail.

Agree with mxlegend. Taufua would have at least taken some hitups and given the forwards a rest. Merritt was a terrible selection as everyone knew it was going to be. The only time he was seen was when he was making mistakes. Should be stamped "never to play origin again". Only DunniesGimp and a few of his Souffs mates thought Merritt would be anything less than a spectacular failure.

Epic epic fail from Merritt, and an epic fail from all the Bunnies fans fapping themselves over a guy who all he's ever done in his career is fall over the line. Can't believe how the wool got pulled over so many peoples eyes that this guy would go good in Origin. For Boyd's second try Morris had Inglis covered and Merritt ran 10m infield and stood next to Morris anyway the f**kin genius.
