It sounds like any debts will come out of the guarantee. Confusing.

Mr Tinkler emphasised the reports in the media of a Club debt of $20 million have been exaggerated and mischievously reported.
"Any figure like this could only include money I have put onto the Club. The debts of the Club are substantially less than the $10.5 million, which is currently sitting in a bank account and not earning interest,? he said

Thats the way I read it....

People cleary aren't reading the HSG release.

A) He isn't "gone"
B) This is going to drag out for many more weeks/months to come.
C) He wants Newcastle to "settle" there debts with HSG

We will still be talking about this when ASADA actually does something, ie.. for a long time.

This show ain't over kids. All Tinkler has said here is he is willing to go. But there is still much to be worked out before that happens. The $1. The $10 million. Any potential debt.

Also, "Bears are ready to step in from round 1 2015" article quoting Flo in 3...2...1...

Cut the shit. Newcastle aren't going anywhere. They're one of the greatest clubs in the code, regardless of their size when compared to the Broncs and Souffs.

Without reading the whole thing it would seem the big fellas heart was in the right place but he just had no idea what he was doing ?

He should never have over extended into that horse farming shit.
Spent WAAAAYY too much on it and lost a bomb.
By all means, use the horsies as a means of fun, but do not make it a primary income source.

If the NRL gave up a team in Newcastle it'd be the stupidest thing they ever did.

But I agree, I don't think it'll be long until Florimo starts up again haha

Bunniesman. I've always assumed you're a dwarf, well because you're a mental midget.

So in this case. I'll stand for you in trial by combat.

I do think his heart was in the right place when it came to the club, but it seems his dodgy business habits were carried over to the Knights so the club really had no option but to force him out. Can't keep going with an owner than won't the deliver the money that's promised. The club needed a break from the constant negative headlines he brought too.

And lol at Bunniesgimp. The NRL would let let Souths die way before they would let the Knights.

I suggest you, and some others, re-read what Bunniesman actually wrote.

The Knights aren't going anywhere, their value is worth more to the NRL than some Sydney clubs
