They can't keep Harden. They'll have 60 million a year committed to 5 players. Aint happening.

Harden will get max money in Charlotte or something.

Somewhere like Phoenix is much more likely then that hole at Charlotte. The only way Charlotte will be able to attract significanr talent in the next couple seasons is via the draft.

Yes they will. They wouldn't re-sign Ibaka first if they couldn't re-sign Harden. Stop being butthurt.

Why not???????

They've shown Ibaka is the priority.

It will be easier to replace bench scoring then it will be to replace an all defensive PF with decent offense.

Thats what you think will happen and its definately possible but your original statement about re signing Ibaka before Harden still makes no sense.

EDIT: They would be pretty dumb to amnesty Perkins now they are gonna have to go past Howard and the lakers.

Slight correction with my earlier post; Ibaka is 4 years/$48 million.

It's pretty obvious that if Harden enters free agency that someone will offer him the max and that OKC will probably match. From what I understand, even if they match Harden at the max, the financial hit won't be too bad in the first year, but more so later on once the contracts of Durant, Westbrook and Ibaka get their yearly increases.

If they amnesty Perkins it won't be now, but rather 2 or 3 years down the line.

Mario Chalmers has said he is a top ten nba point guard

That will have to go down as one of the dumbest things said by an nba player this decade. Dude is struggling to make the top 20.

Edit: I didnt think this was worthy of its own thread so i dumped it here.

Rondo can play like the number 1 PG though. Chalmers can't play like a top 5 PG.

The egos are still there, you are kidding yourself if you think players in the 90's had bigger egos then players today. IMO what made the nineties great was the competitiveness and the rivalries between the players, especially the stars. Jordan, Payton, Bird, Magic etc went hard at the other team, the trash talk was awesome. These days the stars are all friendly on the court, maybe not during play but as soon as there is a stoppage these blokes are laughing and joking with each other. Its takes away from the competition imo.

Agree, nobody has that AI attitude/ego nowadays, probably because they wouldn't tolerate it lol. People hated it but I found it entertaining. Everyone can't be the same. Even Malone's ego was pretty legendary and still he says some stupid sh1t to this day. Don't forget Sir Charles - one of the greatest egotistical personalities ever! Period.
