Sep 13 - The Panthers will be carrying a healthy message on their backs from next season. Penrith chemist and weight loss expert Tony Ferguson has signed a deal that will see his Tony Ferguson Weightloss Program emblazoned on the lower back of the NRL jersey.
Tonys program has helped thousands of people lose weight and live better, healthier lifestyles over the last few years, Panthers Business Development Manager Shannon Donato said today.
So there are obvious synergies between his business and our organisation both of which promote healthy lifestyles.
It is a three year deal.
Tony is a long-term supporter of the Panthers. He is one of the clubs longest serving sponsors and a Life Member.
People need to learn about healthy nutrition and our program is 90 per cent education and 10 per cent product, Tony said today.
Its a good deal for us because our message will be seen on the back of an NRL jersey and hopefully that will get it across to both parents and their children.
Tonys program is now available right across Australia and in New Zealand. On November 1 he will be launching it in South Carolina and North Carolina, home of the Carolina Panthers.
