It's interesting to see people's lack of imagination sometimes. Like the " stadium issue " there's not going to be another team added for years. If you're thinking that you can't do something in years because of an issue today ,You'd really never do anything with that mindset.
When you're doing something new, you're enacting a change... why would you assume things stay the same
Everything in Te kahs argument is based on everything staying the same or going backwards..
A new team in NZ changes things dramatically. A new team brings capital, attracting fans ( votes) among many changes.
Perhaps the carrot of attracting an NRL franchise will inspire a new rectangular stadium to be built??
Isn't that the entire reason that they get built
The Gold Coast built 2 brand new stadiums for 2 new teams.
The NRL are in constant conversations with government about stadiums.
If NZ2 got the nod, expect those same conversations and deals to be done.
