Brilliant

how do you manage to make the best points with so few words

I really wanna copy this posting style

it’s so much better than writing essays

There you go, saying you don't know what you are talking about, without saying you don't know what you are talking about.

Really have no idea what point you're reaching for here. The size of the sport is pertinent in a thread where people are claiming that sport is going to fail in NZ.

You guys really need to understand this, I like both sports, aside from Origin, and I want them both to succeed. As a NZer I'm more worried about the state of league in NZ than I am of the state of rugby.
Another post where you comes to the defence of your favourite sport

What our NZ posters are missing is Super rugby will be dead without Australia, there won't be anyone to play! And without a professional Rugby comp to watch week in week out, you're left with League.

And Australian Rugby is on the ropes.

New Zealand 2
The reality is in nsw and qld afl has overtaken union

they have gotten into the private schools and are tapping their juniors

the number of schoolboy teams has collapsed
In my old school it’s down from five plus per year group to as few as one or two

Most of the NZ Super Rugby sides are owned by their local Unions, like how the WAFC own the West Coast Eagles and Dockers. I think the Highlanders are the exception, or at least that the local Union are minority shareholders of them now, and I don't know about Moana Pasifika but who gives a f**k about them anyway.

Given that fact I think it's extremely unlikely that you'll ever see any of them look into starting an NRL side, and I highly doubt that most of them could afford it anyway. The NZRU would definitely try to stop them as well, whether or not they'd legally be able to do that in NZ IDK though.

If any of the NZ Super sides were truly interested in becoming multisport clubs, then they'd almost certainly look at options with lower start up costs like Basketball, Netball, etc, first before exploring the NRL as a opportunity as well.

So yeah, suggestions that it's likely that NZ Super Rugby sides would look into investing in NRL sides are fanciful at best.

No I wasn't, I was making a specific point to you that clearly you're having trouble comprehending.

I am on a rugby forum, and a general sports forum. I don't limit myself.

What you're missing, even though you've been told multiple times is that NZ rugby was ready to go it alone, and NZ rugby is in fact subsidising Oz rugby to help them build up their standards.

I genuinely hope you're right about NZ 2 and I hope they're more successful than the idiotic Warriors. But, either way it's not going to see the demise of rugby in NZ regardless of how much you cross your fingers hoping it will be true.

Also, why are you watching a rugby channel on YT?
