The thing is mate, all they say is " trending up" which literally means anything. It could be trending up since the opening of the season, trending up since covid...
If it was clearly doing well, we'd have the figures to judge for ourselves. Heck the journalists didn't get the figures.

And what "you take" means nothing. What you believe means less than nothing. The only place that the journalists will have got their figures from is SkyTV. And SkyTV don't care what you believe, if they say figuresa ar heading up, they will continue to pay for the product. Of course in this instance Super Rugby is almost irrelevant to why SkyTV pays NZR for. They will pay for the 13- 15 Test matches that the All Blacks play each year, the World Cup every four years, the Lions every 12, The new nations cup every two years... The fact you think Super Rugby will have any real impact on NZR shows just how little you really know.
