Not paying is something every super league club does

when did hull kr go into administration again ? How many chances did they get

Salford wakey are all basically insolvent

had the rfl given the Wolfpack the same funds they gave to Leigh who replaced them they wouldn’t have gone broke

but that’s English rugby league for you

27 years ago. we werent given chances, we had to rebuild from the third division off the back of our own hard work. Toronto had that same chance and walked away.

Toronto were offered the chance to get their sht together, they failed to do so and are now gone. It was hugely ambitious and some might say destined for failure given the financial state of the game in UK and its inability to prop up new ventures. Fun while it lasted and who knows in decades to come might be viable, but not even close at the time.

Toronto wanted a share of the tv money which was refused

Leigh who replaced them got a grant of one million pounds

they were set up to fail by the insular Poms

The Toronto talk is irrelevant deflection and meaningless drivel.

As of right now, the NZ2 bid doesn't appear to have any credible backing or government support

NAS: 200cm, 115kg
Sam Whitelock: 202cm, 120kg
Brodie Retalick: 204cm, 120kg
Scott Barrett: 197cm, 118kg

but apparently the ABs missed NAS’s size in the RWC final

At least the kiwis were world champs with the players they developed

maybe your right all these kiwis playing rugby league is having no impact on the standard of nz union and the all blacks

No he's always talking it up as financially successful, and ignores the fact that the owner didn't pay the players.
oh alright, he's so against expansion into new markets in Aus, I just assumed he was against the Wolfpack, Toulouse, Catalans etc...

Two of those guys I mentioned have world cups to their name and one of them has two, so not sure what your point is there

Your rugby market is tiny compared to the one in Australia

Australia taking so many players is affecting the quality in union

not rocket science

and stop the bs these guys couldn’t play for the all blacks

they beat the best rugby team in the world

the kangaroos

NAS debuted in 2015, must have been a hell of a loss for the ABs to still feel it a decade later.

I do recall that NZ winning the World Cup of RL in 2008, had a huge impact on the All Blacks and they didnt win the next 2 Union World Cups....

they also stopped paying their bills and the players
when asked for a business plan they failed to supply one
that is why they were dropped out of SL and offered a championship place, which they refused and closed down owing money to people
Inconvenient truths.

Looking forward to hearing who the two 'partners' they have are. Hopefully its a bit better than their blockchain funding idea.

If this launch at Vegas goes well nz will get the 19th license

especially if the warriors continue where they left off last year

you can’t go past international expansion
Depends on how viable they are and what confidence NRL has in their funding model.
