Makes no sense. It’s about 1/3 the size of Christchurch, isn’t really growing in population, and has never really had a strong local league scene. The only thing it really has is an excellent stadium but Christchurch will have that when their new one is completed.

In terms of areas of population that a team can realistically draw game day support from, it’d come in maybe 7th.

Auckland
(daylight)
Wellington
Christchurch
(daylight again)
Hamilton
Tauranga
Napier/Hastings
Dunedin
I wasn't being serious, well i was about it being a nice part of the world but not for a team.

So you do do as I say, yet you can't find a single "racist" post I have made.

Just shows how wrong you are.
Nah, the systems were down at my work for 2 hours, and i couldnt get any jobs, so I had to find something to do with my time.
I looked around, you stuck your neck out a little, I gave a little bait and you helped my time waiting go quickly.
Cheers for that!
PS: I really didn't think you were a racist, just that you do not make some posts clear what you mean and I took advantage

There is barely any "bigotry" here now
LOL, what utter bull shit.

I've spent a fair amount of time in NZ, and the place is absolutely overflowing with the more insidious forms of bigotry.

The soft bigotry of low expectations, active discrimination against "majority/oppressor" groups to benefit "minority" groups, and run of the mill elitism, all run rampant in NZ.

The sad thing is that Australia is very much headed the same direction.

Looking at the pop stats I kinda changed my mind since all the pop is on the north island

Wellington should prob be the base but the stadium is. A punish and will affect the teams viability

*sigh*.. I was clearly responding to a post about "bigotry" between sports. If you aren't smart enough to comprehend that then that's on you.

You were asking too many questions about French rugby league and it took a lot of time to answer them

plus if not using google before posting was a the criteria here, you would hardly get many posts away

your posts about the ufc being a case in point ):

Kiwi's secretly hate all blacks & can't wait for NRL takeover
In reality, they're professional athletes and despite the All Blacks being the pinnacle of their aspirations, it would also be intriguing for them to participate in the greatest Professional Rugby competition spanning the tasman.
Trouble is, no NRL team are going to guarantee them a starting spot.
The game is played at a higher speed, more minutes with bigger collisions. The skill level and intensity is higher also.

Unless of course there's a new team in NZ that will spend the money and chance thier hand because the marketing involves a massive pay-off!
That offsets such a gamble.

The reality is 90 percent of the All blacks would fail to nail down a starting spot in the NRL.

ahhh "Reality" something you are clearly not familiar with.

RTS - one of the best fullbacks in the NRL, Daily M winner, Kiwi's captain. Switched codes to play in the World Cup Has not even come close to establishing a starting position and is looking more likely than note of missing a spot at the cup. If and when he switches back will walk back into first grade.
Benji - Daily M winner, regular First grader, also former Kiwi's captain, lasted five games of only Super Rugby before being cut and switched back, to play first grade.

Just because you think something, doesn't make it true. Actual evidence shows you are wrong.

The funny thing is, at the start of this thread you said a new team would be a "massive blow" to NZ Rugby by signing all these players, who you now claim aren't good enough....
