New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

ahhh "Reality" something you are clearly not familiar with.

RTS - one of the best fullbacks in the NRL, Daily M winner, Kiwi's captain. Switched codes to play in the World Cup Has not even come close to establishing a starting position and is looking more likely than note of missing a spot at the cup. If and when he switches back will walk back into first grade.
Benji - Daily M winner, regular First grader, also former Kiwi's captain, lasted five games of only Super Rugby before being cut and switched back, to play first grade.

Just because you think something, doesn't make it true. Actual evidence shows you are wrong.

The funny thing is, at the start of this thread you said a new team would be a "massive blow" to NZ Rugby by signing all these players, who you now claim aren't good enough....
My post said nothing about players going the other.
But if you'd like some examples?
Lote tuqiri
Wendell Sailor
Brad Thurn
Israel Falou
Marika korabiti ect ect...
The list could go on all day...
Especially those who transitioned at a club level in France ,Japan, England, and Super Rugby.
RTS is wasted in Rugby because he's main attribute is ad lib individual attack ( something not embraced by RU).

But back to addressing my previous statement and looking forward to the examples of Those from top level Rugby who adjusted and nailed down a regular NRL spot...

Australian Players? Really? You claim "All Blacks" players couldn't cut it in the NRL and then, with the exception of Thorn you list Australains, not All Blacks. You could have even list SBW the most successful cross code bench player in NZ history.
Neglecting of course, that before Rugby went pro, the list of NZ Rugby players, who not only played first grade, but also, in most cases, for the Kiwis.
Matthew Ridge
Daryl Halligan
Gavin Hill
Frano Botica
Craig Innes
John Kiwan (After he retired!!!!)
John Timu
Even Marc Ellis.

Just over a year ago 2 All blacks considered the transition...
Probably would have happened if we had a second NZ team...

NZ 2 would deal a massive blow to Rugby in NZ.

Players "considering a transition" around contract renewal time, who would have thought. I bet that never happens in League... oh wait.

And the best part of your link... one player was considering AFL not league, i swear you are getting more and more desperate.

and this: "In terms of a serious change, not really. I’ve watched the NRL a little bit. Growing up, I never played league or anything like that,” Jordan said.

“It’s not that big in the South Island, or Christchurch, probably as much as it is up north, so I never really played league."

Yeah a second team will do a lot....

Thanks for listing some more names to make your point about RTS even more moot.

You just got your arse kick , then kicked it a little more yourself 🤣

I listed Rugby players who switched to League and played first grade and in most cases the kiwis and you think that it shows that an NRL First Grader and Kiwi, who is struggling to make it in Rugby is a "moot" point??

So your claim now is "buying" rugby players to fill a new NZ NRL team is not going to work? Despite this being the premise of your entire thread... righto.

What it does show is that your claim that "The reality is 90 percent of the All blacks would fail to nail down a starting spot in the NRL." is as baseless as your entire thread.

Firstly putting all Australians in 1 basket makes you a fool.
Then yet another unprovoked insult.

Your posts are more of a blight on you than anything I could say. Please continue to post.

Once again getting it wrong. I have not once said "all Australians", but of course you never let the truth get in the way of what you consider to be a good story.

Your opinion of me or my posts is worthless. You have made numerous posts about NZ, League in NZ, Rugby in NZ, Players in NZ of both codes, which are patently wrong, yet you double down on a premise that is fundamentally flawed. But then what else do you have? Nothing.

In reply to Jones’ comments, V’landys has poked fun at the time spent on the field without the ball in play, saying anyone who traded codes can: “can take their mobile phone with them on the field because they’ve got 20 minutes to tweet, Instagram or TikTok”.

You STILL don't have any evidence to support your thread title so you post something irrelevant to the thread. Of course it it does show the true intention of your thread, but that's an aside.

The fact we're 82 pages in... kinda tells a different story.
And you're STILL ignoring all the evidence.
The last time a couple of All Blacks were thinking of jumping ship the salary cap was 10 million with 16 clubs... now 12 million with 17 clubs...
In 5 years it'll be 15 million.. then the 18th club is NZ...
Come on fella, you can't be that slow.
That's 160 million spent on players in the NRL to go to 270 million..
An additional 110 million just on players salaries..
I'm sure Super Rugby aren't concerned at all 🤣🤣🤣🤣

What "Evidence"?
The 18th Club will be Perth, there is no tv money in Australia to pay for an NZ Club, the Sky deal will tank with no competition.
The NRL salary cap is irrelvant, there is no salary cap in NZ, NZR can pay players what they like to keep them. The example you provided, one of the All Blacks was talking about AFL not League!
There are not enough juniors in either Wellington or Christchurch, and there is yet to be ANY money spent on improving the pathways in either city.
There is no stadium in Christchurch until 2026 at the earliest.
There are few available slots to have flood lights on in Wellington.
Junior numbers in NZ have been declining consistently for decades.
Teenage Maori and Pacific Islanders are playing Basketball and a vastly increasing rate rather than Contact sports.

These are all facts, not your assumptions and opinions.

I already get it. You don't know what you are talking about. I got that after your first post.
Then why do you continue to engage with me if I don't know what I'm talking about 🤔
And why are you posting like an Olympic posting champion on a thread you think is stupid 🤔

But here we are 🤔
