Do you think a Sydney relocation team be the best for Central Coast ?
Yep

the biggest missed opportunity was central coast bears over ten years ago

they had John singleton backing them

Gallop couldn’t get the clubs to agree so he changed his mind and went Gold Coast titans instead after privately telling the bears they were in

made the right decision, central coast is a f**king dumb idea when 10 other teams are within an hour's drive away

Great question Izzy.... if you can figure out a way to get em back, please do
Despite his fancy private school education, Izzy aint the brightest spark, we didn't let them go. I find it frankly preposterous that the media (and Cantabs like Izzy, yes I've disowned him from Hawkes Bay ;)) continually run with this line.

Here's a more realistic rundown:
The Saffas have been threatening to go north for the entirety of Super rugby.
The Saffas already had teams in the NH comps before Covid hit.
When Covid hit Super rugby had to be stopped as the teams could no longer travel to play each other.
NZ and Oz made decisions to run their own comps rather than stop rugby being played altogether.
The Saffas threw out their toys claiming they had been kicked out - the Saffa media ran with this little sob story.

If the Saffas wanted to be in Super rugby they would be, instead they used an international tragedy to enable them to move to a competition they had been threatening to go to for years because the timezones suit them (and they have a better chance of winning more often).
