Apart from being outjumped and doing noting..yeah he was awesome. NZ are better without the midget in their squad

Tough call, can anyone out jump Folau and Inglis?????
I thought Nightingale competed well, but he wouldn't be in my Kiwi's team anyway. He has certainly benefitted from working outside 2 premier centres in the Dragons.
I'd actually rate Shaun Kenny-Dowall as better.

I think Krisnan Inu would be a good choice on the opposite wing to big Manu for the world cup though.

Looks a surprising good squad considering all the ones out through injury or residing in France. As long as Webb and Matai can get over their injuries, this team should do alright. I'm really glad to see Sika Manu in there, he will be a star at the WC.

Have you actually watched any Dragons games?
Nightingale is excellent under the high ball, and is a good leaper.
To be outjumped by Folau is nothing to be ashamed of, as just about everybody is.
Go and get a copy of that test again and watch it properly, and then come back and tell me Nightingale did nothing.
The guy is all heart and ticker, and is a quality player.
I think you'll find in that test match he did a hell of a lot more then some of the bigger names in the side.

Inu, Manu and Perrett are better options than Nightingale that is for sure, at least they have height are are just as quick. Perrett and Inu are more versatile as well. SKD was more unlucky than the midget.

He was also against Folau who has been outjumping everyone all season. He held his own in a NZ side which was beaten badly all over the park and was better than both Webb and Perrett who both made the side.

So we are giving test jumpers on people who show "heart and ticker".. fair dinkum I thought you pick the BEST side!

Perrett is the utilty back (fullback, centre, wing), and Webb is your best fullback by a mile and he can easily play 5/8 which you need. Midget can only play wing, with a bit of FB. Both of the others have more versatility!

Nightingale was outstanding at fullback in the last few games for the Dragons and held Brett Morris out of the team.
He is unorthodox in his approach, he runs the ball back straight and hard, excellent defensively, excellent under the high ball, chimes into the backline beautifully, can offload very well while being tackled....yet all you say is he is a midget.

I think Nightingale is unlucky to miss out and should come if Webb pulls out with injury. I actually like the look of our squad.

1 Perrett
2 Vatuvei
3 Matai
4 Sa
5 Inu

that's how i would go with the kiwi backs ... perrett is ineffective in the centres and the wingers pick themselves ... perrett is strongest at fullback and some of his kick returns this were incredible ... he's a very strong player and made quite a few breaks and half half breaks so if someone is running off him like no one for the roosters was there's half a chance for the offload ... he looks more comfortable roaming in open space on the attack and he's not soapy suds hands like alot of roosters fans make out ...

i don't see it happening though since you've got brent webb ...

Hahaha Webb was picked to play fullback and he's overrated there. Perrett may be versatile but apart from being a bit quick he isn't that good.
