Lunch time, McIntosh and Flynn still there, Flynn on 48 and looking very good. I think we may have found a winner here, ladies and gentlemen. McIntosh is very suspect against the short ball. The pitch is a bit slow and low, so cut shots and pull shots don`t find the middle of the bat and the Windies are employing some dangerous slower balls. We have mistimed a few as a result, but got away with it so far.

I noticed that with McIntosh I hope that's just first game neves and that he'll settle a bit more in the next session wouldn't be nice losing a wicket esp after the break, something we kept doing in Australia. Need to break that trend. Good seeing Flynn do better.

that score from Macintosh was worse than a duck....

& Taylor... well thats just vintage Ross Taylor... i would say drop him... but he has been scoring the bulk of our runs...

Not much to do with the pitch. How didn`t get close enough to the ball outside off stump. Taylor has zero footwork against slow bowlers and feels his only shot is the slog sweep. And McIntosh was done by the drift and his inexperience against such bowling.

Another problem we always have is not building partnerships and when we do some one always gets out
