I agree. He did all the hard work and then throws it all away.
my old coach always told me that even the great batsman like Don Bradman are vulnerable early in an innings. so when a batsman is below 20 they are very much fair game...

but once you get over 20.... your expected to make 50... ATLEAST...

I reckon he`d like to give up test bowling in the near future. But his batting is not good enough to get him in the side, in my opinion.

So the guy who has the highest batting average and scored more centuries than of any of the current NZ players isn't good enough? Why?

Hmmm I wasn`t aware of the statistics, I just don`t have the confidence in his batting. He just looks bad, but wasn`t aware he had the best statistics. That is strange.

I'm not saying he's our best batsman by any stretch. The lack of continuity because of injuries means Oram is usually searching for form which is why he may look out of sorts at times. But once he's in full flight, he's as good as most. Just a pity he never gets a long enough run when he is in form.

Flynn at 3. Ryder 5. Hopefully with that tosser Bracewell gone means they wont muck around with their positions again.

Flynn dismissed on challenge for 95....poor bastard. Wrong decision IMO too, was hit outside the line.

On a side note, why the f**k is this challenge sh*t being used in Test cricket? Keep the mickey mouse crap in T20s ffs....Pathetic

:( no 100 for Flynn!! Given lbw on this new referal system...which I'm already not liking! LOL. Ok that was being bias but I find as much as it may help decisions made correct it is delying time on a game too. probably it was the right decision in the end for the umpires but still...

So do I think, in the end it was the correct decision and that was mde, but I do think wasting valuable time in test cricket which some find is long and tedious enough as it is doesn't need to be done

There is a bit too much emphasis on trying to make an umpire/officials decision correct all the time these dyas in sport but I'll be honest what makes games exciting, infuriating etc is because bad decisions happen and that is what fules it on, to try and correct that so they don't get it wrong just to me seems being a bit pedantic

thats not cricket......

it feels strange to be given out like that, im not sure it belongs in test cricket because it gets rid of the umpire factor, which i think is needed in test cricket because its always been there.

So does this referal system take away the entire benefit of the doubt thing that has been in place since day 1

I am still not 100% convinced that he was hit in line, and i hate relying on a bit of technology like hawkeye to be 100% accurate. The ball looked half in and half out of the zone, so even being 4-5cm out has a big impact
