Yeah, you're rightDanny Levi saying all the right things on the knights' website. It seems im in the minority here but I think he's one of the most talented young hookers in the game. I think he's going to have a big year
Agree with the 1st paragraph but not the 2nd.If I had to choose between Grif and Levi, I'd be going for Grif right now
I personally think we'll see Mann and Buhrer share the role until/if Griffin is fit enough to play
He's since come out and said he's making a commitment to the team From all accounts, he is learning from the new guys around him. When is the last time Levi asked for a release and not just people dragging up an old story? Thought it only happened after the opening round or two back in 2018.
top of the list and in my view vital if we are to be successful. Not an 80 minute player
"Kurt is in our seventeen somewhere...his dummy half work is still a work in progress but it is coming along..." - to me that makes it clear he is the bench utility for the start of the season and I expect Danny to be in the squad as first string hooker.https://www.newcastleknights.com.au/news/2019/02/04/the-battle-for-the-no9-jersey/
The battle for the No9 jersey
Nathan Brown weighs in on the battle for 9.
you'd think Pearce would be a logical and natural goal kicker.https://www.theherald.com.au/story/...hock-goal-kicking-option-for-knights/?cs=7580
Levi has put his hand up to take on goal kicking duties
Barnett, Ponga, Lino and Woolford have also been practicing
Never really understood why Pearce hasn’t ever taken on goal kicking duties. Thought he would be good especially for he shots from out wide with his ability to kick the ball a long way.
