AFL just got 1.3 billion from Fox and that does not include digital?
NRL has to get the same.

The Australian claiming the NRL won't even get what they're getting now, with $400m apparently been talked about. good luck with that...

They look to be keeping a lid on it while all the News Corps stooges vent their spleens at the game.

Two and a half years is a long time for all this to play out is all I can say, and by the end of this year alone my building will be connected to the NBN, so the game is changing rapidly.

Why would he reply? Unlike Polo Boy he's not obsessed with the opposite code. When the deal is announced the NRLs own website won't even mention Flog ball. Unlike VFL.com

No feebles in the NRL.

Comment below yoursanswers it. But no comment from the NRL shows they're keeping pretty cool about it which is good. Thought they might have had a panick media release as to their thought process.

Sounds like only News Ltd lackeys are having a meltdown and Uncle Rupe knows he's been duped. Maybe a first for him. Hope he changes the AFL GF to Sunday morning. :lol:

You know what would be an excellent move by the NRL? Hire someone like Paul Kent (or another News Corp lackey, but Kent would be a good one as he actually played the game at some level, unlike someone like Becs) with a big pay upgrade and with the strict condition that he absolutely blasts his former employer whenever he can and calls them on their agendas. Kent's shown that he just tows the company line, if he's told his job is to blast News Corp, I'm sure he'd do it.

Just scanned the news limited newspapers in the local library. the journos are indulging in an afl love fest anybody can see through. All say the nrl deal is bad and the Australian is stating there must be two new teams 'and give them to fox sports '. That way Smith 'could come out of it being a hero' . yes folks it's that blatant.
