I'm being too hard on long. He actually played pretty well, apart from a game or two, before he got injured in 13. But when he came back, ouch. Completely whiffed on a block that saw sam reinjure his knee and sink the rams season. Then he stunk it up for the rest of the season until he tore his knee again.

Newton got what he wanted, a better contract then Matt Ryan(103.75)

bit high on the Guaranteed but I'm happy with it being front loaded after being in cap hell for the past 3 years due to back loaded contracts.
