ill be kind, you can have one, and we'll take the one you dont want :D

the only piece missing is a MIKE LB... i like Mathews potential, but he's not ready yet... we could go after an OLB and play Chaney at MIKE... which would be good too.
Anyways we need a good backer, thats it.

CARDINALS ADD CB MARSHALL
The Arizona Cardinals have agreed on a one-year contract with free-agent cornerback Richard Marshall.

Man I'm gutted by that.

Really wanted him at Buffalo.

That's a GREAT signing as a DB for Zona.

Him and Peterson are a great tandem.

PATS HANG ON TO FAULK, MORRIS
The New England Patriots' backfield took on a familiar look Saturday when they announced that running backs Kevin Faulk and Sammy Morris have been signed.

Meanwhile, Pro Bowl offensive guard Logan Mankins signed his franchise tender.

That's a good development for New England since Mankins has been disgruntled for a while about not getting a long-term deal offer to his liking and not being granted free agent status.

The Patriots also signed free defensive lineman Steve Williams.

That makes no sense to me. They have like 7 RB's now.

REPORT: CHIEFS SIGN VETERAN DT GREGG
With talks coming up empty with veteran San Francisco 49ers Defensive Tackle Aubrayo Franklin, the Kansas City Chiefs stepped up their efforts to fill the void by departed defensive lineman Ron Edwards and Shaun Smith.

Early Saturday morning, they came to terms with Wichita Kansas native, Kelly Gregg.

The former Raven is entering his 12th NFL season and was a key cog in the middle of the Baltimore defense in nine of the last ten seasons.

Great signing that.

They are apparently in the box seat for Franklin too.

The Bills are trying to sound ILB Nick Barnett. He was in town today. David Nelson basically confirmed that.

Out of retirement? When was the last time he played? Would be good for experience, a decent back up for Mendenhall as Dwyer and Moore haven't kicked on and I'm pretty sure have been moved on?

seems odd, NE arent even a running team... why so many?

Training camp competition. Rookies are unknown and the rest are veterans on last legs (Faulk/Morris) or no names who made a name last year (Law firm and Woodhead).

RBs in the draft are huge hits and misses. And none of the other RBs have necessarily been outstanding (at least for long periods of time).

The Pats use situational RBs, and Kevin Faulk was the King of NFL Situational Backs. Woodhead filled that need when Faulk was injured. If Faulk is healthy then he is better than Woodhead.

But Woodhead provides special team assistance.

And Sammy Morris can be used as a FB if necessary.

Seems free agents are using the hell out of the #Bills for $ leverage. BUF has been connected to lots of top UFAs but signed no one good.

Yep...damn right

Any news on Zach Miller? Why hasn't anyone been going after him and why aren't the Raiders resigning him?

But the Cowboys did release Roy Williams, Sam Hurd, Lenarod Davis & Marion Barber to get under the cap.

Yep it has.

Same as how Sam Hurd, Roy Williams and Marion Barber have all signed with the Bears.

Raider, looks like Erin Henderson is your guy. He's signed with the Eagles.
