I remember when it was under $20...

So do I.

That's what lead to the famous incident where a bottle of Red made me like beer.

We also used to get Carlton Cold under $20. Two truly terrible beers.

I recall Carlton Cold and its Lion Nathan competitor, Hahn Ice, where the first mainstream beers sold in clear bottles. I wouldn't call a Corona a mainstream back then, it was very high end back in the day.

Hahn Ice had been all but killed off by Carlton Cold when I started. It was still around, but not in any sort of volume.

A bit like Hahn Premium now actually.

It made a short lived comeback a few years ago labelled just "Ice Beer" but that sounds stupid and no one bought it

Fosters had an "Ice" version in the UK and the USA that came in a clear bottle.

PS - This wasn't the Light Ice version they had here.

It's technically still available I think, because Tooheys gave up caring years ago.

But they put it in cans only, and only in a 30 block.

Whatever happened to the Tooheys Extra Dry Platinums? They had a decent alcohol content

The aforementioned fun police.

They dropped to 5.2% and were still at least five or six bucks more than normal TEDs for a six pack, so no one bought them.

They tried them in a 12 pack after that and even fewer people bought them

I tried a heap of craft beers. Still like VB. Its a simple good Aussie beer

Last night had me thinking.
What is right and what is wrong. And without right can we have wrong. Same as good and bad. If there was no bad then there would be no good. And if everything was good then there would be no bad.

So we are trying to create a perfect world. My question is if it was perfect then was lessons would we learn along the way?
Dont we need good and bad, right and wrong to be able to feel like we are learning or on a journey. If it was all perfect wouldn't things become repetetive and mundane?
