Id imagine a lot of these places are taking a bit of advantage of the whole situation. Just like funeral adds are making people feel bad and like a burden for dying.
When my Nan went into a hime she blew put like a puffer fish all the shit they fed her.
Ive worked in nursing homes as a young apprentice. Being served greasy burgers and fried chips is what I remembered. This was a long time ago.
In saying that quite a tough job. Preparing someone for death and knowing that well st some point that will be you.
The worse part is the person sharing room with Nan has to watch them die. Ouch

TBH I think that the profit-before-quality-of-life nursing home would be pretty rare these days. Aged Care Facilitates are under the microscope and I think stories like you have recounted would be uncommon.

Residents are visited by outside geriatric GPs and diets monitored by NSW Health. Cowboy outfits will be shut down and google will show you that it has happened.

I don't agree with the f**ken idiots and think they have been brainwashed. So if I have such a low opinion of them then why would I worry about what they say?

Maybe I can do this safe in the knowledge that my gay friends and my gay sister-in-law are too smart to let some dense footballer bother them. People getting mock outraged just give Izzy's stupid comments more oxygen than they deserve.

I’d only take his Omega Speedmaster. Panerai is for wankers which he is. Don’t like precious metal pieces. Stainless steel all the way.

I think thst the SSM vote results demonstrated that most people have moved on from the draconian teachings of the bible. The dinosaurs that remain will no doubt cop some flack.

Most merkins are surprise not that Izzy holds firm beliefs but that he freely tells members of the LGBTQ community that they’re going to hell. Izzy could zip it if he wanted to and remember thst he also a role as a brand ambassador to ARU Qantas et al.

So to answer your qn i am surprised that he is stupid enough to cause an unnecessary fuss on social media which will only damage his brand and that of his employer.
