Avenger, a man of your stature should not bother with a car pretending to be someone else. Get the real thing --> Porsche Macan. You could pick up a MY15 for a tick over $100k

Definitely. Need to replace the Dualis by January/February. It's been a good car, a little small, very reliable but reminds me of a disposable razor blade. Just does it's job.
PS Never get a CVT gearbox, sounds like a whiny lawnmower.

tbh I don't think I'd ever want to spend $100K for a car ... $40-50K tops .... I just don't see the point throwing so much coin at a car
Me too.stick it in shares or a deposit for a house.
Pretty weird. I would have figured that most of what I've posted in this thread is pretty clearly an attempt to be a voice of moderation. Oh well. Doesn't matter.

He should get her a Tesla
Your post was not deleted.
Must be Poo's fault.
Probably. It will remain an eternal mystery, given that Avenger managed to read a post that never existed. Bermuda Triangle has nothing on this. Or maybe Pou has hired a secret team of hackers.

Teslas go for almost $100k themselves...
I see that Tesla merkin will be selling his batteries to us next year. He reckons that you'll be able to store youe solar generated power at home and pretty much not need to rely on the grid.
Poor coal.
Or maybe you edited your own post and overwrote the original one that Avenger read.
Not everything is Pou's fault - just most things.![]()
Nice!
I had a CVT in my Honda Jazz way back in 2003. It was awesome.
Then I had one in my Lancer in 2008. It sucked.
Now I'm thinking of getting a Subaru Outback, and they are fitted with a CVT.
Some people spend all their life accumulating wealth but never get to enjoy it. What's the point of working your ring off if you can't enjoy the fruits of your labour ?
A lot of people do it for their kids.
My bro has an $8M home and a $4M holiday home (which he paid both for in cash) on top of a huge share portfolio. He still works his butt off and I asked him why doesnt he take it easy and enjoy life a bit more.
He said it is all for his kids.
BTW, he drives a golf gti. However, his wife has a Audi TTs and a BMW 5 series as a family car.
