one of my mates at school was obsessed with rotos ..... and webbers - I'm still not entirely sure what a webber is
Either a bbq or a carburetor.

When I was a kid you either liked V8 Aussie muscle cars or high performance Japanese cars. I was mostly the latter. I drooled over Porsche's and Ferrari's but even then I was a little more realistic and ended up wanting cars that I was more likely to afford. One of them was the Mazda RX7. Have a cousin who had a mate who was a successful plumber back in the 80's and he bought a brand new Phase 2 Mazda RX7. I drooled over that car and the last of them was one of my favourites, the legendary drift king.
Anyway this is the new one expected to be released in 2017 to coincide with the 50 year anniversary of the rotary engine. Wow! Always loved Mazdas. What do you think? What cars did you admire as a kid?
My old man bought a Lada Niva when I was younger. It was the biggest piece of shit ever and used to overheat if the temperature happened to get higher than about 25 degrees.

Lol my wife when we were dating was looking at changing cars. We went to a lada dealership and the sales guy was doing hid best to sell it.
My wife who is nice was agreeing and was behaving like she was going to buy it. I was going wtf in my head.
I recall the front seat was a bench seat
However, she did not buy it but bought a daihatsu feroza instead.
This week Tony Abbott broke free of the shackles and exposed his creed: a fundamental rejection of negotiation and compromise, and a refusal to allow compassion to get in the way of a nation's self-interest.
Delivering the Margaret Thatcher lecture at London's Guildhall, Abbott insisted it's strong leadership that makes a difference.
His definition of strength?
Thatcher on the Falklands, he said, "did not see an Argentine grievance to be negotiated, but a monstrous violation of British sovereignty".
No negotiation.
Fight. Fight. Fight.
He urged Europe to study Australia's experience, turning boats around and denying entry at the borders. "It will require some force," he declared.
Fight. Fight. Fight. Even against desperate refugees.
