if you kill them you punish their family

dead people don't feel anything

a pointless exercise in futility

.....and bloodshed begets bloodshed Korny.

You don't have kill someone to punish them. As I said above, I wouldn't blame a relative for doing it, but when the state does it, it is a different story.

its not even about punishment for me, it's about them not being fit to be in society. Why let them rot in jail when we can save some of my tax dollars and put it to good use.

The families know they deserve it, they will get over it and accept it.......people have to accept real tragedies like cancer and accidents of their family, pedophiles, rapists, how could you ever defend that?

What about those that have re-offended? ruined/killed innocent lives and punished families?

Give me pointless exercise over that any day of the week

Since this seems to have just become the official youtube thread on magic, let's get back to the basics:

Message to Brad Arthur:

If you are reading this, instead of saying "we shot ourselves in the foot" when we lose our next game, please say "there is no magic fix" or "there is no such thing as magic". Thanks. Harry Potter references worked for Des to excuse bad performances so you should take a page from his spellbook.

And if someone else in power has different definition of who is 'fit to be in society' than you do, how does that play out?

I know two people who killed someone (they used to be my friends), one got manslaughter due to psych. reasons, the other girl got off scot free.. I'd lock the pair up forever, but kill 'em? Not for me anyway.

I don't get why my thread was moved here it is clearly discussing the Eels. Move it back? Where is the rule that you can't reference something else in regards to the Eels?

But we are a society of morons who believe these low life's can be rehabilitated, no matter how many times they reoffend!

They cant re offend if they remain locked up.

I guess it depends on whether you feel someone has the right to take someone else's life.

The death penalty just puts them out of their misery and punishes those who will miss them imo

The problem is that we don't lock them up forever because we believe in rehabilitation..........if they were out of society guaranteed forever, I'd support that........

People die all the time for unfair reasons and people are left behind to miss them........there would be a legitimate reason to kill pedophiles and rapists and murderes imo.

Too funny, rehabilitate a pedophile, good one.

It is a sexual orientation, these people have an illness, they cannot be rehabilitated.

These mules were only at risk of firing squad after Widodo got in Oct 2014 and decided to everyone's shock that he was going to clear the back log on death row. Prior to that under previous rule, clemency was odds on.

That doesn't mean that the official penalty isn't death - it just means it was likely they would have shown a soft underbelly and let them live.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Now, onto the leaders and all other scum, please.

An I nnocent 17 year old girl is dragged off the street last night in Southern NSW and raped by 3 men..........let's worry about 2 people who knew the consequences of their actions if they were caught.......

Maybe these guys are also young men who think they're 10ft tall and bullet proof, so it makes it alright? Dumb choice? I say kill them, I'll do it, without a second thought. Low life scum don't deserve to be alive!

I don't recall saying it was alright.
I agree with Barry and Twizz.

Who pays for their time in gaol if they are there for life ?

They had a chance to get out. I think it was a bribe of $130k.

Should've taken that route
