I think the whole drug smuggling thing is irrelevant, you either support the death penalty or do not. I do not.

King pins do not smuggle drugs, they tick up junkies until they are tens of thousands in debt, then call in the debt bytelling them to go to SE Asia to pick up a consignment or be shot, along with their family.

I don't consider drug crimes that major, people have choices to take drugs, can't blame dealers for their demise. Everyone else is to blame in this society.

The reason I don't give my time to care about the Bali guys is because the laws in that country state you will be killed, it is very clear. I don't believe anyone should be killed for drugs personally but it's not like it is surprising that they broke the law and they got the punishment for breaking that law in that country.

Do gooders are what is wrong with this world. They have everything to do with sentencing, it's called pressure on the law makers. Do gooders believe people can be rehabilitated after committing violent crimes, that is the problem!
