Yep, I think the Dogs have lost their way under Hasler ,and its oh so obvious. The dogs have lost their mantra of being, in the whole, a dirty and untalented club ,which in the past, has relied on grubby underhanded tactics to win games.

Hasler is from the quaint Northern Beaches - his heart is not in Lakemba or Greenacre, he just doesn't get our culture - he is not hurting like we are!

Josh Reynolds understands the Bulldog creed, and that's why he went on a solo rampage last night, and I for one loved it. I enjoyed the kicks to the face of a defenceless opponent, the trip and the stiff arm tactics - Bulldog class and style from yesteryear and more power to him.

I want opposition teams to fear the Dogs of War, like in the past, fear having urine poured over you while you watched the game, fear having your grandad beaten up after a Dogs loss, fear visiting Coffs or the Entrance.

Des you don't understand the Dogs culture - we are slime and we love it, time to go Manly man!!!

The Dogs halves haven't taken any control after Origin. They peaked too early and are missing a specialist fullback.

So what - he does not get that the Bulldogs are the Dogs of War! I love that our great club still gets referred to as the Dogs of War, 30 years after this stupid moniker was first invented. We played some of the most boring and mind numbing football back in the 80's, but who cared ,cause we were the Dogs of War.

I want the Dogs to be feared...again.

I want Kasiano, TRex, Eastwood Graham and Pritchard to fear KFC...

There in lies the problem.... The behemoth pack seems to slow and cumbersome for the modern game would have been unstoppable in the unlimited tackle era. Would have given the great St George sides are run for their money...

Dogs spine is probably just better than the Raiders

They have a great squad overall but lack the 1 or 2 really classy players who can just dominate a game. Manly have DCE, Stewart and Foran. Souths have Inglis and Burgess. Easts have SBW, Jennings, a great club spine. Melbourne the big 3. Cows have Thurston, Warriors have Johnson. Hell even Penrith have Segeyaro, Soward and Moylan.
They're a gritty team but don't have the firepower to go up a gear when necessary.

We're 2 from 2 against the Dogs this year and their former teammate has made mince meat out of them both times.

Knives getting sharpened for Ca$hler.

Dopey f**k had a job for life if he showed an ounce of loyalty. Hope he enjoys coaching Canberra or the Gold Coast in a few years time...

Til last night I considered it quite an achievement that the Panthers had done the double over the Dogs this season...

Six weeks ago I had a Manly v Dogs GF. Surely even the Dog haters would be surprised at their slide over the last 4-6 weeks. Williams needs to give his physique to a littler guy who has a go as he just doesn't seem interested. Reynolds has been struggling and the loss of Morris and Tolman has been huge for them. Still should have had the talent to win games.

Im loving this btw. Couldn't happen to a better team or fanbase.

Must agree there.

The Bulldogs had their unique style which brought them success over a sustained period but after a few lean years, have tried to adopt manly's model.

However by simply recruiting Hasler, Cleal and T Rex all that was achieved was throwing away their club culture.

After the Roosters failed with the recruitment of Mason, Anasta, Myles and O'Meley you would have thought the Dogs would have learnt a lesson from others mistakes.

The Dogs are now the modern day transit lounge that the Roosters were in the 80's.
