He said it once 18 months ago as an excuse for leaving hayne out of Origin because Josh "The Boil" Dugan was blowing him. If sticky thought Hayne was a pivot, why pick Soward and that pisspot from Cronulla ahead of him? We already have 2 good young 5/8ths behind Roberts you goose.

Besides - Souffs 2 best attacking weapons are INglis and Burgess. We'll see Sam the Whinging Pom playing in the 6 jumper from now on?

You have never heard of a position called CENTRE? Besides, Merrit is a waste of $6.00 on the wing ffs.

He also wrote this article in April and said he still believes it.

Also he then had Hayne picked at 5/8 for the City v Country match, muppet.

Because Hayne is a damn ordinary five-eight. This is nothing new to the world of ricky and coaching halves. He is terrible at identifying or developing talent in the area he plied his trade as a player. If you think Sandow or Roberts were bad last year, I'd be worried what new levels Stuart can take them to.

Oh and look out for the systematic destruction of any front row, and replacement with 2nd rowers.

Stuart is an ordinary coach, I'm not quite sure how he's ever maintained a reputation that doesn't align with that fact. He's probably a good motivator, which makes him ideal for rep games, but a good club coach he is not.

There's no reason Hayne can not dominate at 5/8. When he has played there for the Eels it has resulted in him playing almost exclusively down a narrow corridor on one side of the field which has been the problem. Whether they need to get someone in to teach him or just give him free reign to roam, it would not be a difficult thing to rectify, but then all you're achieving is the same thing he's already doing, only without his kick gathering and returning and having him defend in the line.

It makes no sense to anyone but the tards who've been duped into believing Hayne is a bad defensive fullback.

He sounds just like Brian MacDermott at Leeds........they struggle with the regular season, but knock-out/one off games, they get it right!

If there's a 5/8 'behind' Roberts likelihood is he's not good.
Junior Paulo? Possibly our best ball player last year.

So what position did Sticky play Hayne in Origin muppet?

And how would you know what Sticky still thinks ffs. He's had hayne for 6 games, and is yet to pick him for pivot. Yet you reckon he's a cert for Parra's 6 jumper?

Unless he's in a wheelchair he should still be considered in front then.

Hell, Ricky could probably still do a better job than Roberts.

That's clearly unfair. Roberts is a brilliant five eighth, for at least 1 of the 5 minutes he plays each week.

The other 75 minutes are an issue admittedly, but come on, give the guy a break.

If the doggies go all out and get Falou where would they play him? They have Barba at fullback you could move in into the halves but that would be crazy after his last season. You put him in the centers you would have to put Inu or Morris on the wing which seems more likely but still Inu and Morris had great seasons aswell.

It would be a good predicament for Des at least.,.

In the centres or the WIng? Did he pay fullback? I can't even remember. Not 5/8 because Jarryd Haynes woeful performance at 5/8 in the city country game killed any chance stick had of picking at 5/8 for origin..

How do you know Ricky doesnt think like that anymore f**kstick? I dont think Hayne is certain for the Parra 6 jersey, not at all. I just think you assertation that Stuart only said it once is bullshit and its a shitload more likely then you are making out.
