Tigers have already played the Knights and Eels twice
There ya go. That is ridiculous that we are eight rounds in, and the Tigers have played seven games, four of which were against two teams. Is it a disgrace? No, but I can't see how that's somewhere we want to get with the draw.

Apparently it's some Canadian business and their algorithm that sets it all up. I get it, we can't play each other once because 16 rounds plus byes isn't going to entice TV. And twice each is too much. But surely you don't play the same side twice in a six week period like the Tigers did, before you've played 12 other clubs.

The sooner we get to 20 teams, and find a way to incorporate rep football (including Tests) during the season, the better. Although it does feel like 20 teams is going to dilute the standard (presuming PNG gets access to non-PNG players, which isn't a given)

Tom T is back for Manly tonight which is big. Talau's on the wing for Saab.

18-12, Titans. Halftime at Townsville.

I'm done tipping the Tits. Leading 18-6 they collapse to lose 50-18. Same thing sort of happened last week, where I tipped them too.

Cowboys have won four straight, Tits have lost four straight. Their season's in tatters.

One positive, with the 50 kiss of death put on the GC, it means the Warriors won't be the only team in the competition that hasn't won a premiership after this year.

Bloody hell, the last post is playing before Panthers-Manly. I forgot the Anzac thing goes all weekend. It seems a bit of overkill.

They need some old heads, Foran is a huge loss but RCG as one example has been disappointing in the forwards

T-R-B-O-J-E-V-I-C.

There, I'm sick of not being able to spell their surname without looking it up. It wouldn't be acceptable with a Polynesian name. I have a surname (Kavanagh) that no one knows how to spell either, so I should be more sensitive.

I’ve watched soft sin bins for 2 weeks, now watch a swinging arm flush around Toms head stay on. Confusing

Already seen more tonight than I expected, pretty much a while starting pack not there, but the dunce Seibold has finally picked a hooker to start at 9

While I still pick them to take this game, I think Penrith are done for the season in regards to making the 8. The next crop of young guys coming in to fill the holes are just a step below what they’ve brought up in previous years. And the old school forwards are all playing tired after 5 big years

And to hell with tipping, c'mon Manly!

12-0...now 14-0, halftime.

Penrith have lost so much talent and I’m not sure the cap is right given it was all (almost) home grown…

But they still have plenty, but they just look like they’ve forgotten what made them historically good…

They’ve barely been injured for 5 years either, was a stat last year and it was insane how few players they’d used compared to all the other clubs. They are being bitten this season though. Now instead of guys like Turuva being the next cab up, you’re getting guys like Jenkins
