The elephant (gazelle?) in the room is Tiana Penitani who is under contract with the eels for 2024 but wants to go home to the Sharks. There’s a bit of argy bargy going on there.

I haven’t quite worked out who our fullback is yet. Anyone ?

Must be so hard putting a squad together when every player is on the market and 4 new teams are introduced. Talk about herding cats. So far we have solid bookends and the NSW halfback. Add to that a sprinkle of rep players and exciting prospects. Of course I have no idea how they will fare vs the Brave Roosters or Broncos who will always have a stacked roster. You can probably throw in the Tigers and Bulldogs to that from what I hear.

Yep like I said, we have already blown it at the recruitment level. We will be also rans(somewhere mid to bottom). Good to see nothing changes even in our women's squad. The teams that acted the fastest got the lollies. We have Glacier and Co. The only time we act fast is when we panicked and we buy a busted geriatric like Hodgo.

What a management team. Sort of like RL's version of the tortoise and the hare, but in League the hare doesn't take a silly nap and runs all the way to the finish line quick smart and then stuffs its face in a basket of carrots, while we the tortoise are just then getting beyond the first lap.

Our club are just so comfortable in being loses and close contenders. Actual winners is just so far out of their reach or reality that happiness for them resides in being competitive. In their eyes that is a successful season. Winning? Well yeah sure we are working towards that. One day we will get there, sure. That is the Parra way. One day that never comes!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you actually have no idea about the NRLW roster like the rest of us.
