From NRL.com:

Likely team: James Tedesco, Tom Trbojevic, James Roberts, Latrell Mitchell, Josh Addo-Carr, James Maloney, Nathan Cleary, Reagan Campbell-Gillard, Damien Cook, Paul Vaughan, Tyson Frizell, Boyd Cordner (c), Jake Trbojevic. Interchange: Tyrone Peachey, David Klemmer, Jack de Belin, Angus Crichton. Reserves: Nick Cotric, Tariq Sims, Ryan James.

Love that team, bravo to Freddy and Brandy. There will always be debate on selections and footy supporters will favour players from their own club sides, but that team is very strong. I'm very optimistic about this series!
I am very happy if that is the team. I would prefer DeBelin starting and Jake T on the bench. I would also prefer if Tom Turbo and Roberts swapped positions. I would also prefer Sims instead of Cordner, but overall I think that is a very good team. I am a big fan of Crichton, but I think that team is lacking one prop. I would have gone Pangai instead of Critchton.

Very handy side. Could be even better if Tommy T goes to the centres and Cotric to the wing. Roberts out (fast hell yeah but the mans lazy and can't defend)

There is an article on Foxsports that has the same team, except DeBelin and Klemmer with starting and Jake T and Vaughn on the bench. I like the look of that team. I think it is the best NSW team I have seen in a long time.

It will be interesting to see what the NSW Dr's have to say re his injury as compared to our own people but in the meantime DR. Mc Fokknuckle has cleared him to play so no problems.
That is a very good point. I am now keen to see what eventuates there.

From a selfish point of view I hope Hunt and JDB both fail their medicals and can’t play. It’s a step up again to S of O even from playing Penrith and they are both wounded and need a rest IMO

It will be interesting to see if they pass their medicals, especially after Dr Mary said they were fully fit and will play the Dragons next game if not selected.

Crichton is a strange selection on the bench. He doesnt offer a whole lot of impact, he'd be useless in the middle, the prop rotation is 1 player short, both back rowers are good for 80 mins (with Peachey able to fill in edge backrower if necessary. Strange choice, would have Ryan James in there instead. Or Merrin, who's been great since switching back to prop.

Otherwise, as good a team as well get.

Lol@Aitken the certainty.

To add to this Peachey came on during the Souths game at lock for us and scored the winning try. He can cover anything at a pinch and not let you down.

Ideally Crichton should be stating second rower ahead of Cordner but this was the only way they could shoehorn him into the team. Expect Friz to play some prop as well when Crichton comes on.

But I agree, an extra prop like Merrin on the bench would have been ideal.

I would argue that Klemmer plays more of a back rower role with the Dogs.
So with that being true, and it must be cause I just said it, we have gone into the game with two players, Vaughn and RCG who play for their club teams as regular props.

I hope Both Freddy and Kevie see fit to fail both Jack and Ben and let them recover from injury cause Mary surely won't.

Very good team but replace Roberts with Dugan

Dugan is part of the old brigade that Freddie wants to get rid of.

Guys like Gallen, Pearce, Woods, Jackson, Duges, Fergo, the Morris boys.

Could never get the job done. Time to give the new guys a go, and it’s a perfect time now as there is no Smith, Cronk, JT etc.
